So I had been playing in btb today, and I couldn’t help but notice that I kept getting killed within mere seconds from the other side of the map. There were many bullet trails floating about in the air, so I assumed that the enemy team had been receiving a large amount of ordnance drops of sniper rifles. I finally killed one of my annoying enemies, who was camping on the pelican in Ragnarok, with my trusty light rifle.
I was eager to start busting some heads from the top of the hill with my newly attained sniper rifle, but it was nowhere to be found! The only thing that lay on that the ground where my foe once camped was but a mere DMR. Almost out of ammo, and in quite a grumpy mood for losing such a powerful weapon to the guardians, I picked up the DMR that lay there.
The moment I picked it up, time slowed down, my stomach sunk. An epiphany had found its way inside my cerebellum. It was not sniper rifles my enemies held, but it was DMR’s! I ran to the top of the hill, and took my position, preparing to open fire on my enemies with my newly attained DMR. In mere seconds, the enemy team was falling back, torn to shreds by this monstrosity.
Soon after that, the enemy team came out of hiding, armed with a banshee and a mantis! Our armory was destroyed in an intense push for control of the hill, so we were left there on the hill, with nothing but our DMR’s.
The enemy team was wiped clean from the field within 60 seconds. The natural balance of Halo, has been disrupted.
The Message: The DMR is basically a miniature sniper rifle, and deserves a good nerfing.
PS. I was very bored, so that is why I made this thread. It’s more amusing than a straightforward complaint!
