Honestly compared to infinite is a gold standard for multiplayer and single player, even customization. I don’t why they don’t just mcc the hell out of infinite. The customization, multiplayer singleplayer and give me firefights back… Drop the challenge swaps let them be workable all the time like mcc. Put singleplayer challenges up there. I was really expecting a huge campaign but we got short one no way in comparing with breath of the wild. This isn’t open world.
surely you mean Halo infinite welfare
People want to play a Halo where things actually work.
I can’t believe I’m saying that about MCC
bc MCC actually works since the new event started i can’t even go to my xbox’s home dash and back to Inf. without the game crashing
I’ve been forging in MCC. I really do think Infinite has a solid core, but Pre-Halo 5 forge is something I really love, and MCC has it all in that regard. I still play Infinite for matchmaking though.
stability and more content… that’s kinda about it
infinite isn’t optimized well at all and is very lacking comparatively to current day mcc. that’s just how i see it
“ Welfare “
lol I like that one.
Because Halo 1 to 3 are superior and Infinite a pile of shiaaat
Weird how the population numbers of mcc on steam charts doesn’t prove this “flocking back” as a trend. But hey, let’s just make a big thread to -Yoink!- on infinite, really productive. Speaks for this forum that the most people on this thread just come here to hate infinite and doesn’t even think if this “flocking back” statement is really true
Where are the stats of people flocking because I don’t see it on the steam charts (only population stats we can use)
Where are you getting more players moving on to MCC? It’s still roughly in the same spot on xbox most played games, I’d say a little lower really, but it always fluctuates a little bit, so it’s probably about the same. On steam it went up before the anniversary, down when infinite came out, up again a little, down in last 30 days - no real difference.
I’m sure if I search on mcc I’ll see the same guys playing h3 swat I always do (pretty much see them every single weekend when I was playing), other game types though had a little more variety so would be harder to tell.
MCC does almost everything better that’s why.
More modes, free customization, firefight, more campaigns, Forge, custom games, customs browser, co-op, a FAR superior arsenal than Infinite regardless of the title, etc.
Halo Infinite is better graphically, and the vehicle damage system is actually pretty cool. Not much to add there.
Halo 5 was Halo: Advanced Warfare though.
The only reason I said flocking was because the the big increase in my MCC server. It is full most of the time now. Where when Halo Infinite came out my MCC server dropped big time. Now my MCC Server has been full most of the time. My question was Why?
But are they flocking back to halo 5?
That’s the question people should be asking.
People on the base Xbox one are probably going back to the MCC because those games run at 60fps whereas infinite runs at 30fps and that makes a big difference when it comes to enjoyment.
I prefer the MCC not because muh nostalgia goggles but the games are simply more fun at this moment in time, the battle rifle in halo 3 and 4/H2A is way more satisfying (imo) compared to infinites battle rifle to get kills with. (Thanks to the hit detection update back in 2020).
also since upgrading to the series X and playing at 120fps it’s brought new enjoyment to these games.
MCC still has a lot of content to work towards if you haven’t unlocked everything as well, the MCC has become amazing for Halo fans and I’m very thankful for what 343 have done with it.
Population still feels like it’s been hit though although has improved.
