People complain that there is no change and get mad at 343, people complain it plays too differently from previous Halo installments and get mad at 343. It’s like either way 343 can’t win. It looked amazing. In my opinion the game needs to evolve to keep refreshing gameplay. Seriously, we just got the MCC which is every Halo fans wet dream yet some fans aren’t happy enough. I love Halo and I love 343i for continuing the franchise, and while I loved Bungie’s Halo as well my respect for them dropped after they started getting breastfed by Sony. Yeah, Halo 5 looks VERY different but that’s not a bad thing at all. It still looked like the best Halo game since H3. I cannot wait to play it. Enough with this ‘RIP HALO’, just yesterday the motto for halo was ‘WE BACK’.

Halo is supposed to be tactical, slower-paced, and map control-friendly, not a run around all over the place with random encounters, zero teamwork, zero suspense, clustering madhouse.

This IS Halo, Spartans have always had most of those abilities and why a super soldier should’t be able to run and do crazy movements?
I will prefer this changes to the gameplay than just getting a Halo 3 with better graphics and new weapons.

Preach friend, preach. Finally someone gets that Halo cannot be the same thing every release. I love the changes as well.
Lol, what an immense failure that was, the pro’s were clearly paid to sweet talk. This reveal just showed that 343 is trying to appeal to casual players with halo 5, hence why they produced Halo MCC to cater for the competitive scene. End of the day, they are trying to make money, and the most money lies with the casual players.

Halo is as fast as the people playing it make it. Back in Halo 3 and 2 I had some EXTREMELY fast paced games. However, there were some games where my team didn’t just run out there gun’s blazing being all blood thirsty. We stayed back and played it smart using what dynamics the game offered us to the best of our abilities to come out on top.
Every game ever made will always have complainers. It’s inevitable for new games.
I like the change halo needed to change in ways that make sence and dont hurt the flow of gameplay.
Only problem what is the down time between encounters? I get they want fased paced but lets not have a repeat of insta respawn please.
Fast pace is fine for BTB but in a 4v4 it needs to slow down from what i witnessed. Its hard to be tactical and get positioning down when people are in your face every second.
