Why are my welded creations breaking when moved?

I’m trying to move a big group of welded objects but the pieces keep getting moved out of place. Is there a way to avoid this? Thanks.

Deselect the object after welding before moving it then reselect it to insure the pieces wont drift on you. If you are setting these objects to normal, make sure aren’t holding the object while doing it or else the parts will drift apart.
