I noticed after my last game of Swat that I’ve dropped from 880K to 876K credits on my account. I’ve been doing these custom challenges like crazy and now I’m losing cR?? Anyone know anything about this?
How many Credits have you earned today? Because I heard that the Credits start to do that when you have passed the Daily Credit Cap using the Custom Challenges, but I’m not sure. Hope that helps a little.
Yeah, I came to that realization earlier today. I did a ton of custom challenges late 2 nights ago and then did some yesterday. So I guess I hit the cap. Sucks. I was only like 7 games in when it happened. I can’t stand to play Reach without getting credits for my time. I just went and played MW3 for the rest of the night. I wish they would just remove the daily cap or increase it. With these custom challenges it takes me like 12 games to hit the daily cap, if that. I’m a Eclipse btw.
I have daily challenges the I get 5000 a piece for but now they only want to give me like 2200. Does anyone know why?

I am having the same problem. It started yesterday and now I am losing credits every game.
This just started happening to me. I wish there were some sort of notification about hitting the credit cap, assuming that’s what it is. Should’ve gained 2100, instead I lost 18k. And just now as I typed this it went down another 7k. </sigh>
When you hit the cap, in-game, you still gain credits, but at the end of the game in the lobby, it then takes them away from you.
Technically, you are not loosing any credits, just the ones you gained while cR capped.
Well it was what I earned in that game, and also ones I’d earned from challenges in the past hour or so. The were there for a while, but then all of a sudden started going away. So I guess that means I hit the limit. Sucked seeing my credits/rank progression on the website go from 170000/240000 to 148858/240000.
Maybe it’s some kind of an anti-boost protection, lol
Why Bungie, and now 343, feel the need to regulate the credit system more than any other feature in the game is beyond me. It’s the absolute most meaningless aspect of the entire game, and they act like credits are a controlled substance. Remember the rank cap? hahah
