why are mlg maps and gametypes so scarce?

It’s feels like I play the same thing over and over whenever I play mlg playlists. Would you guys like to see more reach maps implemented? Or would you rather more H3 remakes like guardian and construct.

Also…wheres the love for oddball and KoTH??(besides on nexus)

Oddball had a bug so they never implemented it, although I don’t recall what bug.

MLG is in dire need of a GOOD KoTH map, Nexus isn’t it.

As for the lack of maps and replay value, the default Reach maps are not good in a competitive environment, hence why there are a few Forged variants and the normal Reach maps are changed heavily.

The majority of the Reach default maps are not suitable for competitive play. Since MLG wanted to get away from every map being a forge variant, we are only left with Countdown, Zealot, Sanctuary, Pit, Nexus, Battle Canyon, and Penance.

Well then they should ring on the Halo 3 remakes!!:smiley:

If you are lucky enough to find a game where everybody has the Anniversary Map Packs then Penance and Battle Canyon are great.

All the Halo 3 MLG Maps won’t work in Reach, not with the DMR at least.

I’ve played on a great Guardian remake that worked well with DMRs. I would like to see more maps in MLG. But H4 is right around the corner, wouldn’t expect any changes.

Halo 3 prolly has the best maps out of any multi player game.

I think the purely symmetrical maps would work with reach. After all they made sanctuary and the pit work
