Why Are Legendary Slayer Games So Lopsided

Every game I play, the winning team destroys the losing one by at least 25 kills. I think needs better weapon spawning and better maps for the game-mode. What do you think about it?

Not at all, the games i play are kinda balanced from both sides. But there are games either my team suck or enemy team sucks.

I won a game 50-0 on lockout I think the name of the map was. It really needs better maps and better weapon spawns

I was in a game on Shutout earlier that we won 50-46. That was a close game. Just when full parties join sometimes you get owned.

the non power weapons spawn should be lowered so everyone has a chance at a precision weapon. spawn times in other games are almost half of what h4s are

Close games are a rarity in almost every playlist. Why that is, is a mystery to me.

I really pije legendary slayer because iys more like halo 3. But its still got done work I understand that but I hope they start work on maps soon.

make more maps? why not add community creations instead of making us pay for more bullcrap. there are already about to be 4 dlcs availible, we dont need more maps we need more balance and networking capabilities.

Mostly because Legendary slayer is AR starts. Once one team gets a hold of power weapons or precision rifles there is little AR’s can do to counter them. Its one of the reasons SMG and AR starts were hated in past Halo’s and eventually replaced or paired with BR start gametypes.

Because of how long the precision weapons take to re-spawn, it means the team who won the initial engagement will have almost full control for the rest of a minute until the other team can finally fight back.

Yeah, it is pretty much impossible to take over the sniper tower on Shutout with just an AR and poor teammates. I found that out the hard way, no matter how careful or good i was.

I never understood the reasoning of supplying anything like Forge is we don’t get the maps put into cycle. There is no reason NOT to do this.

Every 3-4 weeks we should be able to vote for 3 maps per playlist. The top 3 global picks should be put into rotation. If a map is selected 3 times in a row, it’s permanent list giving room for another.

I don’t see any reason with dedicated servers for Halo 5 why this wouldn’t be an option.

The same reason games are usually lopsided in every other playlist. Low population. Since Legendary Slayer has an even lower population it just makes it worse.

If you are on the winning team, I think its safe to say that you are destroying them because, simply, you’re better. Don’t worry, you’ll meet your match eventually :stuck_out_tongue:

This, it boils down to who’s in a party and who can put the big guns on lock down

I’ve been saying this since before Legendary launched: AR starts create checkmate situations. Players aren’t able to properly defend against a team who gets the weapons first when they’re given a close range weapon.

The current CSR system is pretty broken and there is no penalty for quitting, if one team gets control early, people just start quitting. BR starts or magnum secondary would give teams at a disadvantage a slightly better chance.

The good news is that Legendary BRs may be coming to the playlist shortly after the Global Championships based on feedback.
