because every single species in the covenant knows that jackals are way better snipers then them lol so they force jackals outside because they are jealous

If you get a “kill Jackals” round in Firefight, some will arrive in a Spirit dropship rather than a Phantom. If you look at the glowing energy locks between the two “tuning fork” mandibles, you can see several Jackals are inside it, along with the ones that are inside the normal side troop bays.
