why are inheriors banshee hoggers?

every time there is an inheritor in my invasion game, all they do is camp near the banshee spawn…why?

Because they aren’t anygood if they can’t abuse the most OP iteration of the Banshee.

Because Inheritors know the importance of controlling the most powerful vehicle on the map?

Even though I’m an Inheritor I sometimes grab the Banshee if I could. However, there’s other Inheritors besides me out there that will spawn kill you just for K/D. Yesterday two of my friends and I were playing Invasion Boneyard and there were 4 Inheritors. What did they do? Why spawn camp and kill of course! Also one at the 3rd objective somehow got into the garage where the Scorpion tank is. How he got in there is unknown but there is no way for them to get inside because of the shield doors. Throughout the game they spawn killed everyone including grabbing all of the heavy weapons. They didn’t finish the game by bringing the core to the Phantom. All they wanted is to spawn camp.

If I were you I would watch out for those types of Inheritors as soon as the game starts and it goes for 5 minutes. When the game goes into 2 minutes or more and you see your buddies get spawn killed, that tells you the others will come running to get some medals and kills so they’ll start spawn killing right away.

As for me I don’t work that way at all in fact, I hate it because I’ve had that experience as well. These Inheritors don’t play for fun like the rest of us. All they do is trash talk and say how bad they are when they are the ones bad by killing us right away in the beginning of the game. All they cared about was medals and kills for their K/D. Plus if you must know, my friends are a General and Field Marshall rank they hate it much as I do.

If you worry about Inheritors getting the Banshee I would worry like I said above. Its best to destroy the vehicles asap before you get spawn killed. Just try and grab it before they do. Inheritors in Reach not like me, are not nice at all. Some are nice others aren’t. The ones aren’t nice be observant and find out what they’re up to. In Reach I can actually hear people talking in game chat which is good. You can pick up their conversation and figure out what they are planning before the game starts. If it gets too much and they keep killing you, it’s best to Leave the game. Otherwise you make them get what they want which is K/D and medals that adds to their service record. Its best if you leave the game. Other people will follow as well because if they stick around the Inheritors will win. In the end it is you that will win if you quit the game. It means the Inheritors are left with no kills and no medals that will add to their K/D. Don’t give what Inheritors want!

Like I said I’m an Inheritor and I hate it much as people do. I play for fun. These Inheritors that only care about K/D by spawn killing with weapons or vehicles, don’t play for fun. They are not Halo players. Its more like CoD players which btw disgusts me.

It is not that hard really. I have done it once or twice, it’s a glitch in the game that you can take advantage of. Also, if your get spawn trap, then your doing something wrong.

Most inheritors hate me b/c im the one who throws them out of the banshee. lol. Did it over 6 times in Breakpoint. Had three inheritors and i threw them all out.

What always amuses me are the stat pad inheritors.
At the start of the match they’ll run either toward Bansee or Sniper. IF they don’t get it, they’ll hide the entire match.

Running out there with a DMR and just using your skill? No thank you, not for these guys. They either get an OP weapon, or they just refuse to play. They hold their entire team hostage and drag them down.

Of course this isn’t representative of all inheritors, but I’d say at LEAST 1/3 of them behave this way from what I’ve seen.

I like being the bully hunter. When I see someone is using Crazy King or 3-Ball for kills, I make it my goal to go after and kill them and make the game more fun for the rest of the players who are trying to play the game type.

What is so special about an Inheritor?
Last time I checked your rank in Halo reach had nothing to do with your True skill.

For example, My K/D floats above 2.70, and I am a low rank.

When I see people with High ranks I usually look at their K/D, and most people usually don’t even aproach the 1.5 mark.

So what is special about an inheritor? I thought all it meant was that they played the game a lot.
I mean, they might know where everything is on every map, but does it mean they have good dexterity, and real-time-strategy skills?

No.

Also, I just want to clerify that I am one of those K/D guys. K/D guys are not allways jerks like I have seen typed out.
I am not a jerk, I actually don’t have fun when I play halo BECAUSE I am so obsessed with my K/D. I know that some people would love to have a K/D like mine, but I honestly wish that there was an Option to get rid of it.
Playing halo was so dreadful from worring about my K/D all the time that I actually haven’t played it much since 2009. I have mainly been playing borderlands. Up untill a week ago I think I had played ONCE within the the last year.

I hope there is an option to not track K/D in Halo 4. I would love that. I know they won’t do it though, it is kind of silly.

Can’t say I do that myself :expressionless:

I have played quite a few inheritors over my time, And I have to say that you have the best K/D I have ever seen on one.

yeah I worked pretty hard to get it to two, now I’m not that bothered… I can finally relax and enjoy the game - for a couple of days anyway, then the slog starts all over again on Halo 4

You know, thats why i always go after them first. Once i get the sniper or the banshee, i throw it over the edge to prevent them from getting it and when it respawns, i repeat the same thing.

You, my friend, are a complete legend!

im an inheritor and i dont touch the banshee cuz i think its cheap. but also. no offense to you. but i dont know anyone who has more than maybe a 1.5 that doesnt just run around with one or two other people and try to spawn trap. i almost only lone wolf swat so my k/d isnt the best but i just dont see how unless you are lone wolfing it your k/d could honestly mean anything at all.

Pretty sure anyone who can “Master” the reach banshee can be a -Yoink- in it. Just comes down to playing it safe and all of the flipping. Ranks in Reach really don’t mean anything.

Inheritors spent more time in game… More likely than not they are the best pilot on the team. So I ask you, why the yoink! wouldn’t you put your best pilot in the banshee?

Especially in invasion, you need a plan and you need to stick to it. I am only a half decent pilot but I have a decent DMR and my team trusts me with snipe… Thus my job is to ensure that pilot gets that banshee and I am to guard him against things like rockets, lasers, blueberries and jet packers. If you aren’t the most experienced, you might want to follow the lead of those who are. Following my teammates lead gave me a 93% wins.

Some of these inheritors or equally higher ranks also seem to be quite aggressive if they don’t get what they want eg kill team mate for sniper or destroy banshee if team mate gets it first. Happened to me which is just boring so decided to betray them as that will do wonders for their k/d ha ha

Search other playlist instead of Invasion. Most that do boost kd and never play a solid competitive game types like Slayer, objective and snipers.

^^^Ganon here is one of the few inheritors I do respect, ever since we first met up and we both got a perfection in the same game on Boneyard BTB.

Hope to see you in H4 Ganon.
