Anyone else notice this pattern? Halo: CE was a blast to play on Legendary, Halo 2 gave me nightmares (200% reflex Jackal snipers, Cairo Station LOL) Halo 3 was too easy on Legendary, and Halo 4 was even worse than 2. I didn’t do the PP combo on a single enemy in Halo 4 campaign… It was really frustrating to see a Knight you just fought for 5 minutes get brought back to life lol. I used the PP combo on almost every unit in Spartan Ops, it was definitley easier but also very boring. If Spartan Ops didn’t consistently throw enemies at me I wouldn’t have overused that combo though lol.
What I conclude is that based on odd number Halo’s being funner on Legendary, and based on the hope that 343 will adjust the AI into Halo: CE or Halo 3 status, also coupled with all the negative feedback the forums are giving about the Promotheans, Halo 5 will probably be a less frustrating game to beat on Legendary than 2 or 4.
I disagree a bit. On a scale of one to ten (Ten being shooting your TV out of frustration and 1 finishing the campaign LASO while eating a snack)
Halo CE: 8
Halo 2: 13000
Halo 3: 7
Halo 4: 5
Thats my opinion anyway. I didn’t think Halo 4 was very hard compared to all the other Halo’s. But it all depends on your particular experience.
OH MY GOSH PLEASE DON’T MAKE ME GO BACK TO HALO 2 PLEASE!!!
The rest were quite easy… Reach,Halo CE,and Halo 3 were a breeze… Halo 2… that was insane. Although I’m about half way though 4 and its rather easy as well.

They probably dumbed down the enemy HP to balance out the fact that you are not a spartan. I noticed Brutes and drones were a lot easier to kill.
Of course I played mostly firefight, so maybe they are different in that.
