How can a map like Traffic Jam be in the same category as a map like Viking? I just played on Traffic Jam (in big team super fiesta) and several times I spawned a few feet from an opponent and got instantly killed. If you’re spawning beside opponents, shouldn’t that be a hint that the map is too small for “big” team games? Also, on a somewhat related note, what happened to maps like Basin and Unearthed? I haven’t seen those maps in a long time.
I don’t have that issue when I play on Traffic Jam in regular BTB (the real BTB) and it’s one of the better maps although I’d like less ammo in the snipers. There are a lot of smaller sized maps, but everything doesn’t need to be huge to be in BTB. Basin and Unearthed were replaced in previous BTB refreshes.
Yeah traffic jam is a bit small but getting spawn sniped can happen on the huge warzone maps too. Today I got spawn sniped by some guy with a beam rifle alpha 3x in a row spawned in exactly the same spot lol too 
Fiesta makes it worse since teams will pick up and horde the good weapons if you’re losing by quite a bit. Rockets and snipers on all the enemy team will tear your team apart quick lol
It kinda feels to me like BTB maps aren’t so much small as they are crowded. Remember maps like Hemorrhage, Sandbox, Sandtrap, and Avalanche? All BTB maps that were mostly open and wide; very few structures to get caught up in. Now I look at BTB maps and it’s all flare and buildings and such; too much stuff to get caught around as you fight on the field. Sure, good for cover, but so much crowding the map can often leave you being spawned right near enemies.

Yes, I have been saying this for a long time! It’s my biggest complaint with Halo 5’s BTB. A few maps such as Viking have a good amount of space, but it seems like most of them are like Traffic Jam where everything is cramped and there is only the bare minimum Ghost+Warthog for vehicles. People miss larger, open maps with a good variety of fun weapons and vehicles, like BTB had in past Halo games. I’m hoping they keep that in mind if they refresh BTB.

all btb maps I made on forge and it need to maintain good FPS otherwise the maps will be unplayable
Cause they probably didn’t create maps specifically for BTB.

Hemorrhage… I miss that map soooo much
the new maps are just cramming everyone to fight
Loved the Wraith and Revanant battles of Hemorrhage, wish they’d bring that vehicle back. (Thought I quoted OwlsBeGunnin on this, apologies)
