I mean, seriously, why? Splitscreen has been a regular topic here for months but all of the sudden now any thread that brings it up gets locked? Excuse me, but isn’t that what the forums are for? An open exchange of ideas regarding Halo. Why has that changed? Countless threads about sprint get posted with ease but splitscreen has to be suppressed. Why?
Is it that 343 doesn’t want us to smash their hype train right before E3? Cause that would be their fault.
I wonder if the mods will actually answer. Or they’ll just lock this one too

They said that they will open one in the near future. If you continue to post threads concerning split screen, chances are you will get yourself banned as well. Considering you KNOW not to post it. BUt hey, do as you please.
If you have an issue, PM a moderator about it. Do not make threads that accuse 343 or moderators of censorship. Again if you have an issue, PM a moderator and in a polite non accusatory way state your question and case.
You will also find that the split screen threads in questions had clear violations of the rules… just like this one.

Posting about mod decisions is generally not a good idea, since there is something about it in the lawbook.

I wonder why, maybe because there’s always 3 of them once you get on waypoint. 1 is enough
No splitscreen has caused much outrage and maybe they want the attention to be carried somewhere instead of players complaining and getting more players complaining. Possibly why.
The splitscreen mega-thread became too hot, ignored mod warnings and was posting petitions and becoming heated with angry posts and all the other threads were drowning out the other discussions so the mods decided to let the subject cool down a bit before it is allowed to be discussed again.
Then other people have ignored the fact that they can PM the mods and get the reasons.
I can understand that the main thread got hot. Shutting it down makes sense. But that’s no reason to shut down the other threads that aren’t hot. At least let the subject continue to be discussed. What they’re doing is shutting down any thread that attempts to do that, and that’s what needs an explanation; preferably from a mod
