Why are the halo servers so laggy these days? I’m the only one using my router so I know it’s not my server that is the issue.
I can literally count the seconds it takes for grenades to leave my hand and for shots to fire and register as hits.
It’s a shame, I can’t play competitive games now as everyone has an unfair advantage. Take away for example, I can shoot a guy in the head and he has at least 1 second to react and shoot me in the head awarding us both a simultaneous kill. Even though I should have rightfully won the kill.
Is there something I can do or is that just how it is now? I can even show game clips proving this…
Some days it’s worse then others some days it’s not so bad. Some days only half my shots register which as you’d imagine is pretty ordinary when you need every round from a precision weapon to count…

Hmm… probably not to blame then. Though you could give focused a try

I use the one that’s open or some -Yoink- the only chance I got of getting a game.

Expanded will sometimes give you that, but depending on your times of play compared to your location sometimes it’s unavoidable especially this late in the game’s life.
Balanced and focused will give more priority to giving you a good match both in terms of both skill levels and connection
That’s the problem lad, I don’t find games… Expanded is the only one that’ll find games. I get that, but Mcc is receiving a lot of attention nowadays and it’s just as -Yoink-, only the punishment for not being American is increased…
You can’t really blame the age of the game either. I’ll log onto mass effect 3 now which is ancient as you may already know and I’ll instantly pop into a game and have no dramas. Pretty ordinary.

I agree…I Lways find a match however as of recently the games have been uber glitchy…I’m in California so dont have the issue of being over the pond. I jumped on rainbow six Vegas 2 few nights ago and dropped into a seamless match within minutes. Halo 5 is old but since its latest version of halo released I think it’s still got plenty of players. It wouldnt bug me if it was one game mode however its all. Last night I tried super fiesta as well as ranked arena and halo 3 throwback and everyone was teleporting all over map. I dont think my radar lit up with players once. I also tried focused and expanded just to see and no difference. Balanced loads out match little faster then focused but still super glitchy.
It’s just low population. Some games no problems while others are about unplayable. I’m getting the same thing. Get shot twice and die, players warping around. Your probably getting matched with players all over the world, lag city.
I get what your saying, but I don’t see how low population would affect it. If the server is filled especially on a dedicated server should it not work well?
I’m in the same boat. Only one on router, wired connection, great download speed. And yet I am seeing the occasional player just start teleporting everywhere and I cannot fight back.
