I’ve only quit 1 game and that was because my internet cut out, I’ve lost a lot of games but that’s because I’m joining games losing at 770 to 110(that’s the game I’m in right now) So why am I stuck at 41? This new system is stupid.
Maybe your legitimate CSR is somewhere around a 38-44?
Either way don’t get too upset over your current CSR situation as the CSR will not reach it’s true potential until more people start settling in where they belong.
EDIT: Your CSR is a 43 BTW.
Beating low level players wont do much good for your rank.

BTB is based on individual performance. My guess is that you have to have one of the top 8 scores (regardless of if you are on the winning or losing team) to level up. I also think the ranks of your opponents plays a role in how quickly or slowly your level increases.
I don’t think I’m only a 44 at tops I carry my teams 90% of the time and almost always go above 22 kills and have a 2.0 K/D, my Halo 3 rank is only a 36 because this use to be a boosting account:P

like he said, beating low levels player won’t do much for you, and it also depends on the game type that you’re trying to get a 50 in. it also could just be glitchy. i wouldn’t be surprised with the amounts of problems this game came out with.

Also the ranks shown are behind by 1 game. You will see the effect of that no kill game AFTER you play the next one.

more people are starting to settle into their respective CSR. It’s going to get harder to rank up, at higher levels especially, and if you are facing low rank players its gonna be even more difficult.
Wait a week or two when everyone gets settled into their respective skill rating and you will be faced against similar CSR levels, your rating will be sure to go up if you are truly as good as you think yourself to be,

Considering the fact that Halo 4 didn’t really have strict trueskill before CSR released you could have been just playing really bad kids all the time. It’s usually what happens when you play with a buddy or two. If I play with some friends we are always all going +10 or better.
Either way I wouldn’t be to happy to admit the whole boosting account thing for Halo 3.
Summary of your complaint:
I don’t understand why a ranking system that requires you to WIN GAMES and NOT QUIT won’t let me pass level 41. Even though I’ve quit a game and have lost a ton of other games.

Don’t feel bad. I lead my team in score, and kills. We won the match also. Hell I even did better then everyone on the other team, but I dropped in rank anyways. Then lead in the game after that, and still didn’t move. Finally I don’t lead my team, and I go up three levels. The Rankings are yoink!

Looking at your recent history - I cannot find what you are describing. In fact, I see the complete opposite.
You come 10th, you downrank. Then later you come first and uprank. What is the problem?

It would be the game on settler where I went 23 kills, 10 assist, and 5 deaths with a score of 340 which was above everyone else I dropped after that. Then there was a game on exile, which I am staring at in my temporary history, and it isn’t showing up in game history. Which I lead in that game too. Then there is the Ragnarok match where I get second on my team with a score of 400 which is when I ranked up to level 37. Not sure why the Exile game isn’t showing up. If you don’t believe me, I have my PVR right here. I would have no problem uploading it to my youtube channel proving you wrong.

Should be a game on Exile between the settler 1st place, and the Ragnarok 2nd place
The only reason I say this is after every match I refresh my spartan page, and it showed me being deranked not upranked after the match on settler unless that’s messed up too.
Sounds like you know why you have the CSR you have so Im not sure what the point of this thread was

You place first and rank up from CSR-33 to CSR-36 - what is the problem?
The missing exile game at this stage is irrelevant. You dropped a CSR rank a few games before that anyway. See Game 1.
