Why am I so bad at MP

I know I is because I cannot hit headshots to save my life. I just wonder what I am doing wrong. I play campaign, I only play social and I still get bullied on Xbox DMs

Practice with the weapons you suck at in Firefight. That’s what I do.

If you’re not hitting headshots, then focus on that. If you’re happy to go through some torture to learn to hit headshots you can try SWAT.

And regardless of how well you play, don’t let people get to you. You said it yourself, you are only playing social. It’s on them if they are annoyed somebody is doing poor on a casual playlist.
So waste power weapons, spam grenades, miss all your shots. The best thing you can do is play!

just hit your shots

Campaign is a good way to learn to get headshots especially when you up the difficulty. Multiplayer wise infection might be a decent way to get headshots going since only survivors have firearms taking away the stress of shootouts, also hip firing is the way to go in closeish combat most of the time. Another thing is that firefight like mentioned above helps a bit especially reach firefight since you can start with a dmr

If you’re not great at headshots you could always try to do Autoslayer. Autoslayer has AR and SMG starts so you’d mainly be using those and fighting people using those. It’s a lot more of a casual playlist than precision slayer, so you might have more fun playing that.

Well, the multiplayer space is always kind of chaotic. You’ll have people who play hundreds of hours and are a high ranked player, go into social play areas, solely to just slaughter all the other players to make them feel better. Sometimes you’ll get people you can read and time your shots against better and some you never know what they are gonna do next. My biggest problem is I try and 100% campaign modes before I play online which makes me great at fighting computers, but garbage at fighting humans. Because I can’t keep up with them or know what movements they are going to make. Also, I cannot max out my sensitivity options on my controller because it’s just too fast and I cannot line up shots to save my life because the slightest move of the stick will make my characters immediately stare up to the sky. So as someone who used to play hundreds of hours of multiplayer when I was younger, I can say that the more you do play, the better you’ll get after awhile.

I’m not that good in multiplayer either. I’m in my mid thirties, my reflexes are not what they used to be and I don’t have as many hours to practice as younger people. But I can still have fun and not suck too much by playing other roles in my team. Rather than hitting headshot after headshot, try to play as a support, following other (better) players and trying to cover their backs. Get safety in numbers, instead of being a lone wolf.

Practice, constant and sure.

Practice makes perfect. Be patient and you will be a great sharpshooter
