I have really been thinking lately, with all of the bruhaha surrounding Halo4, especially in light of our latest information dump, with all the folks around having a really hard time with believing this is really going to be a proper continuation of the series, why am I so calm?
I mean, it’s not like I don’t care; I’m here because Halo for me, like for many of you is a very important part of my life. It’s not just a game, not by a long shot. It’s more than that. Halo, to me, is a community, it’s an experience and most importantly, it’s a story and I figured out, that’s why I’m not worried!
So many people are caught up with the game. The mechanics, the nuts and bolts, the competition and they don’t trust 343 with that because they havent made a game yet. But Halo is not about that to me, it’s about the story and the people. For this reason, I trust 343 with the keys to the Haloverse.
343 has already done som much to grow and cultivate the community of the people and the experience of the story with some of the best additions as of yet already.
So, here’s to you, 343. My judgement is reserved, you have my trust. Treat her well.
