there is already a KD ratio in play in the game… Is it too difficult to maintain an even play level between players? If I have a kd of 0.1 and most people I get matched with have a kd of 3.5- and higher… It makes the game not fun online.
there should be a section for people like me that love the game but are tired of being owned online.
like for instance… There is Arena and Warzone… How about a third, plainly named balanced? Make it so that people won’t get matched with people more than 1 or 2 kd levels apart. Example if I am playing and I have a KD of say 3.5 all others should fall between 2.5 to 4.5 maybe a bit more or less depending on number of players like as the lobby begins to fill perhaps widening search of players to 2.0- 5.0 an so on.

Something weird about the matchmaking algorithm. I’ve been checking games, and for some reason unranked players seem to be weighed the same as Onyx and Diamond players. Problem is that if one unranked person playing at the gold level or lower gets matched against such an opponent it unbalances the entire team since TEAM games are only as strong as their weakest players.
Yes, I find the matchmaking algorithm is pretty useless. I’m a mediocre player. I feel like the matchmaking favors speed of matching much more than it does balancing the skill levels of the players.
I’m convinced there is no algorithm, or at least if the game can’t find an optimum match within the first 10 seconds it’ll throw you against whoever it can find. I’ll match against diamond and Onyx often and my highest rank in the majority of playlists is platinum.
I wouldn’t mind the mismatches so much if the ranking system reflected individual performance over unbalanced team performance similar to (COD/Destiny), or alternatively they implement a similar system to Halo 3 where solo players don’t match against teams.
As enjoyable as the game mechanics are in this game (when compared with Cod/Destiny) they really didn’t do a good job implementing a balanced PvP system.

The system is rubbish. I am onyx 1629 in ffa and frequently match platinum 6 or lower level diamonds. Not really fair on them because, unless i am having a very unlucky time of the spawns or just a bad game because of being on the wrong regional server, i will win 95% of the time which slows everyone else’s progress down. At this point i dont think there is an algorithm, i mean look at how much of a diabolical mess the qualifying division placement matches are. Rarely does a newcomer get to play the full skill range of opponents and so rarely do they get matched appropriately. Eg i placed plat 1 playing almost exclusively golds in season 1 having never played before and then had to grind to onyx the hard way. The matching system is just plain terrible.
