Why am I always the blue team?

Halo Infinite doesn’t have color based teams anymore in multiplayer. That’s been phased out in favor of the team names corresponding to animals. Instead, what you’re seeing is your default friendly marker colors. You can change that in your settings then go to accessibility and scroll down to visuals and you"ll see your enemy UI Color which is the enemy team, and your friendly and fireteam marker color which you can edit to your liking.
