Ive been with Halo since 2001. Ive read most of the books, seen all the movie and I even have a tattoo of the USNC on me. Am I saying that Im a blind fanboy? no. The thing is Halo 2 was very different from Halo CE and Halo 3 was different from Halo 2 but no one complained or hated on it. even when Halo 3 ODST came out no one said a word against it but as soon as Bungie gives Halo to 343i everyone jumps on the hate. I personally loved Halo 4 and 5. From the storyline perspective I like how we get to see John-117 more as a human with emotions then just a badass with some cool armor. they took the game and made it different but at the same time its still the same. the multiplayer is good too. in Halo 4 it was different then the other Halos but it was still Halo at its core. Yes 343i changed the art style a little bit but it didnt change the game play or anything. With Halo 5 I think 343i did everything right. with the story I felt like I was playing CE again because of the mystery in the game and the fact that it keeps you guessing and you dont know what to expect. Yes for most of it you are not playing as John-117 or Blue team but that doesnt make it bad. I think it was a rich story that was a lead up to Halo 6. all in all I think that if you dont like the game so much why dont you just not play it? there are plenty of other good games out there but there is no reason to play a game that you clearly hate and complain about everything in the game.
