wHY ALL OF SUDDEN HALO "NEEDS SPRINT"

The people who think that have probably never played the first 3 games. The speed as amazing on halo 1 and 2. 3 was a little slow but mlg fixed that. Halo is so much better without sprint. Good job 343, way to make halo like every other mainstream game with sprint. That was the cool thing about halo, no sprint!

Why don’t you wait and see how it works? It may be gametype specific.

> Why don’t you wait and see how it works? It may be gametype specific.

I doubt it will be gametype specific. I’m pretty sure halo 4 could be worse than reach.

You are entitled to your own opinion even though it’s wrong.

I’ve been playing Halo since the original.
I -Yoinking!- love the idea of Sprint in Halo 4.

It is more or likely like most of Halo’s gameplay features: An option. However, if it is now a built-in feature like melee, I think we can all be glad it was not one of the other AA’s that could have been a built-in gameplay mechanic.

Why any aa’s? It’s such a dumb idea. The trilogy destroys reach and will forever destroy halo’s to come. Bungie had it right for a little while and then lost their minds.

I don’t understand why running faster automatically gets people in a blind rage. Find a sequel to anything that doesn’t add fresh material with each installment.

The first 3 halos were amazing without aa’s. Equipment was fine. Why do all you kids with a.d.d need a game will so much crap filled into it? Stop thinking more is better, ITS NOT!

Stop being so pessimistic over the .3 seconds you saw of sprint. You have no clue what 343 is going to do with game types, so quit judging.

Really now?

I started playing Halo back in 2002, yeah I was a year late but I’ve played them all in order of release and I have no problem with sprint being in the game. Being a veteran has nothing to do with liking a certain feature or not, it’s just a matter of opinion - some have no problem with it, some think it’s the end of the world. But sprint is ok in my book, and this opinion of mine would have been the same whether I’ve been playing the game for 10 years or 10 minutes.

I’m just tired of people making generalizations like this as if it has sound meaning. It doesn’t.

I’d understand more if they said Master Chief was going to start wearing a thong, or even that all AA’s, including Armor Lock will return. This is just a faster movement feature. It’s really not worth whining about.

If you are good at halo, you usually don’t like aa’s.

Stop thinking less is better. It’s not.

See? That sentence above = Nothing meaningful. At all. It can be used on either side of the argument. Stop thinking your opinions are fact, Mr. Nostalgia-Goggles.

I lead my team just about every time I play Reach.
I don’t necessarily love AAs, But I don’t hate them, either.
I like AAs.

I agree Sprint is horrible and is why Reach doesn’t feel like a halo game. halo 4 will probably suck but most people on this site will blindly suck the nuts of 343 because they are making halo. Halo 4 could be awful and still sell millions of copy just because of brand recognition and the success of past halos.

youre worried for a games quality by the fact that you can run fast now -_-
what has gamers come to? games were supposed to change and give new insight and perspective along with new intentional challenges with those abilities. if just the act of running fast now in a game is going to ruin your fun, then just go back to super mario

I’ve played since Halo CE, and I love sprint. And Sprint doesn’t make Halo like every other mainstream game. Zelda, Skyrim, and Rayman didn’t go mainstream because of sprint.

Hey, remember that game on the NES called Super Mario Bros? Remember how you held the B button and you ran faster? Huh, one of the very first popular games ever had sprint, but all of the sudden NOW it’s mainstream.

Ya’ll don’t get it yet.

Halo is now 343’s baby.

They are going to do whatever they want with it. The series is now going to follow THEIR vision. Not the vision bungie had. Not the vision geeks on a forum have(yes I am a geek also for being here).

This is their game. They are going to make it their game.

You either accept it or find a new game that meets your need.

It’s honestly that simple.

DEAL WITH IT

You love old rehashed games?

Get out and go play Halo CE 2001 version.

Ley us enjoy this beauty called Halo 4.
