That’s completely false. We’ve already established that people will buy anything if they’re desperate. It happens all the time, it’s not just limited to this shop only.
People don’t want to pay taxes, but will anyway because of the IRS. By your logic, paying for anything automatically means you like it.

“Our opinions to the companies policy on pricing are irrelevant because we’re the customers and not the company.”
Customers as you know, are irrelevant to the company, after all. Why should we care if they don’t care about us? All they want is our money!
They need it for their servers to run the fantastic, content filled F2P awesome gaming experience that they brought us after 6 years of hard work and half a billion dollars
“Whoa bro, do NOT come to this forum and complain about a companies PRICES?!? What are you a pEASANT? They can do what they want and you CAN EITHER LIKE IT OR DON’T, just don’t LET ME FIND OUT YOU DON’T LIKE IT”
(sorry that last one was just. Venting about some of the defense this game gets. See this sentiment a lot. Seems theres a large group of people shilling for the ‘big bad corporation’ as opposed to consumers advocating for good customer support and PR)

Imagine nitpicking -Yoink!-ing this bad, and not even being right.
If you want it you cannot get it without paying the equivalent of 7 dollars for it, which means you do NEED to pay 7 dollars for it if you WANT TO HAVE IT.
He never said he needs the helmet to fit any sort of requirement at all.
Don’t argue semantics if you haven’t even taken college courses for English.

Did 343 really just make last week’s effect blue instead of pink and change the name?
Oh, I did notice a little blue halo above players heads. I don’t know if the pink version had that.

Honestly I’m done with the store I’ll just use the free credits we get and save em up, if I miss on stuff oh well, game cosmetics in this format of pricing is not worth the stress. They fudged up I’ll just ay the bare minimum effort of stuff they put out.
Maybe conop campaign will be better…
But also why was Conop delayed… I have ayed the campaign and nothing about that mode screams Conop is hard to add in.

Lmao. Yikes. I don’t even know how to respond to this.
Economics 101 - price is determined by perceived value. If you can’t comprehend what this means, let me know and I’ll gladly explain it to you. Until then … Go read a book.
Explain NFTs to me then
These are non-tradeable skins within a game that has it’s own economy. You’re exchanging USD for a currency to spend in a store where items can’t be traded or sent anywhere else besides onto your character.
They set the prices, they determine the value. If they don’t sell, they determine it’s too high.
But already in it’s restrictiveness, it’s value would be low. You can’t do much with it besides look at it. And if looking at something, the colors of something, something arbitrary like that, as dictating value in a one way customization system- Like there’s very little value in general to be found here.

Your comment is nonsensical. “Desperate” is an absurd way to characterize purchasing an item from a video game store. Get real.
What’s to explain? The price of a NFT is determined by market value. Market value is determined by perceived value, ie how much someone is willing to purchase/sell the NFT for. Speculation plays a large part in this.
I’m confused about what you are even arguing about. This stuff isn’t controversial and is a mainstream way of thinking. You learn this stuff in your first day of economics class.
This comment is the absurdity. What kind of logic is this?
$7 for a helmet is too steep. Just because you have cash to blow away doesn’t mean a damn thing. Why are do you get so bent out of shape when somebody criticizes the shop?
What do you get out of it?

Lol. Dude, you are making yourself look silly. Read my comment again, then ask the question.
It’s crazy I have to teach basic economics on Halowaypoint.
So it’s not customers opinions that determine if something is priced too high, it’s if they buy it or not.
So we just ignore the people saying it’s too high?
This whole thing would be completely different if they were tradeable items ala CSGO

You’re paying $7 for a digital hat.
That’s silly in it’s own right.

Not even. We’re paying $10. Show me the option where I can purchase 700 credits.

Again bro, show me the option where I can get this helmet for less than $10? It’s even more than $7, ya know considering CREDITS.

Not bad considering a real helmet of that design would be closer to $500.
Ya, that’s crazy that people want to spend so much. These individual items are worth no more than $1, and at most $5 for an armor set including coatings and effects with it.
