first off i would like to say that i love Halo 4. it is by far one of the best Halo games to date. 343i did an amazing job. but i am very upset about the ending. why the heck would you kill off one of the most beloved characters in the Halo universe? this is your very first Halo game… you ask the Halo universe to trust you … and you do that to cortana. other than that i do believe Halo 4 is an amazing game but i do believe 343i went a little to far with cortana. i just hope they dont kill off master chief in halo 5.
I cried, but I think it was an acceptable way to do it.
You must be a bit naive if you think Cortana is truly dead. It’s just a way to add drama to the storyline, Cortana will return.
Why would the kill off chief in Halo 5? Its a trilogy…

Cortana basically had an entire Halo dedicated to her.
If they kill the Chief off in Halo 5 (VERY UNLIKELY) then I would simply stop buying Halo. No exceptions.
You know, think about every line she says in the halo 4 story. She really hints that she will return. It sounds like a clone of her though sense she is but an AI.
I think they handled Cortana’s death pretty well. Master Chief and Cortana’s personalities are definitely portrayed better in this game.
She will be back in Halo 5 and we know it, but it will be a new Cortana. She even told the chief if they were to get her to halsy she would not be the same cortana. Her death was needed to awaken John’s humanity so he would evolve from an emotionless machine into a human.

Play through the last mission again and listen very carefully to dialogue from the Didact, he says a lot of things baout Cortana that leave a lot of loose ends. Even if she may not truly be a character anymore, there’s a lot more too her that we don’t know yet and I think we may see her again anyway.
She’ll be back. She’s metastable, or becoming metastable. Chief just has to get by without her for most of Halo 5.

TBH, I didn’t actually understand where/how she died. All I heard/processed was that Chief would be moving without her. I don’t necessarily think this means she’s dead.

You obviously didn’t do your research. By Master Ch33f dying in Halo 5 it upsets fans globally but 3 years later when Halo 6 is released the story reveals that all of the Halo’s was just some dream inception crap and Master Ch33f AND Cortana are still alive. #SWAG
