Kig-yar ODST and sanghelli marine
Okay. That’s pretty cool. I’d love to see this in-game some day.
kinda cool, seems a tad silly to me tbh but still fun and cool. Also, If it brings further interest into playable elites i am doubly for it.
Elites where already UNSC allies though when fighting against the Truth lead covenant post-schism. When this occured they just kept the armor they trained in and built from themselves which makes the most sense in all honesty. Perhaps you could explain it by years passing and the two species assimilating into eachothers respective cultures as the mingle and relocate into similar living spaces. meaning that an elite who joined the UNSC and wanted to do so from an early age would be more famiilar with UNSC styled equipment than Shagelli (or the same case for other speicies as well). Or perhaps in a non-canon spin off or something idk.
Either way it’s a novel idea and I hope the artist posts more designs even just for fun
Same I hope to see more UNSC armored covenant species, and maybe some covenant armored humans.
Oooh, now thats actually quite interesting! My mind didnt jump there immediately but now that you mention it that sound like it could be hecka fun. I know we got Helioskrill in H5 for spartans, but that was UNSC tech inspired by covenant, it would be much more interesting to see alien tech designed FOR humans.
Oh what would a grunt look like
I honestly couldn’t really see old Covenant forces using UNSC pieces unless they really must use them honestly. I guess it could happen though, since there are units ( namely Arbitor’s fraction ) that seem to not mind Human allies.
Sangheili armor tends to be a bit bulkier though. But then again a few Spartans were fairly big as well.
This I actually do want to see. A Core dedicated for Spartans who have adopted covenant themed armors.
Now that I would pay for.
Knowing grunts, they themselves would stick to there covenent rig, but arm a goblin with a UNSC armor, just imagine it being equipped with a minigun, twin back mounted missile pods, and a flamethrower.
Another reason why
Swords of Sanghelios
Well yeah that is the obvious reason, but that one is more the reason why we need a sanghelli core.
In many centuries, his could be possible
It honestly kinda pissed me off we had no sangheili allies in the Infinite campaign.
Seeing alien species integrated into the UNSC would be a pretty cool concept.
OP
I don’t see it happening.
343 seems to be jettisoning a lot of the more Mass Effect style stuff that they were moving towards in Halo 4 and 5. Humanity being an advanced space faring civilisation, things like aliens living on human worlds as refugees, diplomats on Covenant worlds and obviously the Swords of Sanghelios. All that is leading towards aliens joining the UNSC.
But with soft reboot it’s very transparent that they want to drag things back to a scenario like the Human Covenant War. In which there is a sharp distinction between humanity and the other species of the Galaxy. They don’t like us and we don’t like them. There’s very little interaction like you would expect between normal states and societies. It turns them into this very clear cut other and they are constantly referred to as monsters in the game. You might as well be killing Orcs and Goblins given how they are depicted.
For example there’s thus far been zero nuance to the loyalty of non Brute members of the Banished. It’s never questioned why they are so loyal to what’s otherwise depicted as a Brute nationalist organisation. In game dialogue implies they’re all aboard the hate humanity train. This pretty much makes them just a horde of Xenos to be exterminated by your Space Marine.
So I suspect when the Swords show up they’re going to be much more distant and aloof. Possibly even hostile even like we see in Halo 3.
Again I am not quite sure where this hostility towards humanity comes from since they’re the species committing all the horrific war crimes and tried to exterminate all life in the Galaxy. Rubicon makes a big deal about how the Banished don’t like humans because they created Cortana. Which, is incredibly annoying because:
That AI is the only reason you scum didn’t fire the Halos and kill your selves.
I don’t recall this outrage when you were exterminating billions and humans and glassing their worlds. The Covenant deserve far worse than anything Cortana did to them.
Humanity fought Cortana and were actually more directly targeted. It really annoyed me that none of the humans in Rubicon call the Banished out on this. If anything Atriox went off on his own quest for unlimited power and let his people die rather than accept “surrender”.
Considering humanity has access to planet cracking nukes and now knows where all your planets are maybe you shouldn’t be picking fights you’re going to lose.
I mean Atriox has the dumbest plan of rebuilding Brute civilisation on a Flood infested Halo ring that kills anything when it’s fired. He’s actually trying to kill his own species at this point.
Yeah, I’ve been thinking about this for YEARS, my Gods.
These are the opposite of reasons why they should add alien allies.
It’s like The Predator 2018 having those cut friendly predators in camo pants.
Dumb. It’s dumb.
Let the Sangheili keep their identity.
Reminder Halo has always had dumb stuff, just have fun don’t take things to seriously.
Oh yea like when the Johnson took the elite guns and the arbiter took the human guns. That was funny.
This stuff you’re peddling ain’t it.
Don’t mind the other guy, he’s all bark.
I support Sangheili operatives in the UNSC. They could easily have special high caliber weapons.
Try discussing something without insulting people you basically don’t know. Not to mention, it’s all bark here.
It’s opinions over the internet.

This is the only reason required to add alien allies back to Halo. Not cause of some cringe fan fiction.
