ok so just found that i wont be getting a specialization code because i live in europe. why didnt we get the codes like everyone else? i got this game day1 and have played every day.

Probably because of your grammar.
its more likely your countries fault. Some places don’t do premotions etc. so its not that 343 “hates euro’s” its more like your country is stingy.
Well you didn’t get the LE for a start.
They justify it by saying that we had them as a Pre Order bonus but that was only from GAME and no other retailer.
It’s a load of crap, the way they’ve handled Specializations is a joke, not just for Europe but for everyone.

better not getting them then buying the limited edition and scoring priority alpha and then losing all specialisations like me…

I really don’t think 343 anticipated the problems it’s caused.
Certain countries got it simply for playing the game early, europeans had to pre-order.
I’m not sure why they thought doing it like this would be a good idea, but never mind.
This is Microsoft’s doing. It was their promotion, their eligibility requirements, their codes. Take it up with them.
I believe they said that they will make the specializations available to everyone, just not right away. Yes, it sucks that you can’t rank up after lvl 70, but what happens when you hit 130? Same thing. You can either keep playing and just work on performing better, or you can play campaign, or you can play something else entirely.
I doubt they would make a large portion of their support sit back and watch as others rank up around them. They will either have to make the level cap much higher, or make the CSR visible in-game. People will lose incentive to play otherwise.
I’ll still be around, but I’d like to see H4 do well.
id actually like to know why they dont have them unlocked to start with? because for the people who only have 2 unlocked they are feeling cheated, id understand if the only people getting the codes were guys who got the console, but to give them out for free and restrict the whole of europe is a d-bag move. we are the second biggest market on the planet, yet we get dumped on by 343. they even gave the codes if you live in korea! what the hell

MICROSOFT is probably trying to squeeze as much money out of people as possible.
A couple weeks after Christmas, there will be another flood of people complaining about the specialization madness. Microsoftwill have to do something about it then. Again, this is MICROSOFT’s thing. Not 343.
I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they made 343 turn it into dlc and charge…240 points? something small so it seems less of a rip-off

If OP wants to know the real answer about no specialisations, the truth is its microsoft who made the deal, not 343, so they have done nothing wrong.

i think you maybe right, but ive got to ask why are there rank caps in the first place? im sure microsoft didnt tell 343 to put a rank cap in the game, i think it must of been 343 who put the rank cap in there, but im sure it was microsoft who wanted special codes for unlocked this or that.

Maybe they don’t want people to be SR267 and require lots more XP per level when they add new specialisations? Who knows though. I think they should have done the whole ranking thing differently. Getting up to Inheritor on Halo: Reach would take forever, whereas SR130 seems quite easy to reach. So easy in fact, that I’m sure they have something up their sleeves.

I live in Europe too, and it’s just crazy that we’re being forgotten here. After all we are just the same costumers, who pay their hard-earned money for this product right? What diffrence does it make that we don’t actually live in the US, we pay them the exact same price for this product, so we deserve to be treated equally am I right?
I love Halo 4, and I am regretting buying the season pass because honestly I don’t want 343 having ANY of my money ever again. About two weeks ago I couldn’t play online for 6 days because I couldn’t connect to the Halo 4 Servers, this is just a poor way of giving feedback to your costumers.
it seems that 343 doesnt care about the euro players. dont care because they will rake it in with map packs and will probley turn h4 into a total mess like reach. personaly i think that microsoft is to blame for this codes for every1 except europe nonsense. but the lack of info is truly disgusting and has put me off even getting dlc for the game. funny how the population has gone from loads to f all and you just take a look at how many are playing blop2. lvl 70 locked xp erm ffs patch the game unlock it 343 . this is tottally unfair to almost half of the halo fans in the world and isnt gonna make you more money. people will lose trust in you real quick and not suppport the franchise.
and doing nothing till jan or feb is just gonna cause more people to give up playing cause they are playing for nothing. i play for rank and fun but without rank and skill you may aswell be playing ball in a cup.
