I would be very happy, as this is the last Halo I truly love with its servers still on, lets set a date, get people involved, repost this like crazy, as well as making your own topic regarding this, there was a repopulate halo 3 day last year that was quite successful, the population increased by 45k members in just one day, it would be quite a sight to see if the halo 3 population marker went above 50k just one more time

Some community members already tried to organize a ‘repopulate halo 3 day’ but it did not work out too well.
For something like that to work, a group of members would need to get together and bring exposure to the event through various means for a while leading up to the event itself. Say a few months. Simply because it’s not feasible to ‘repopulate’ a game through a single forum or even two or three.
You are right. But how does one go about bringing light to this, the best bet would be to give it to the YouTube commentators

Submit the idea to different sites like THC, Fragging Rights, Halo Customs, Forge Hub, various youtube channels, Even B.net if you have to. Organize a group of committed individuals willing to expose the event through various means. Forums posts, youtube videos, Blog posts, live stream shows, messaging friends on LIVE, etc.
The more exposure, the greater the chance of success.

I popped in Halo 3 this week a while and its just too slow of a game for me anymore. It’ll just frustrate me if I try.
