Ok, this boss is way to ridiculous, first off, we can’t get any vehicles in there, second he has a unlimited amount of ads protecting him, his mantis shields recharge way faster than a normal mantis shield. Come one 343i. Use your heads and make this crap actually possible.

It was a bad idea. People have already complained a bunch over on r/halo so it might go away eventually. In the meantime, banshees are good for taking him out. Fly in from the roof, get close, and keep shooting the fuel rod cannon.

My question is this. Why does a forunner Promethean or soldier need to drive a Mantis? If they are advanced technology you would think that they don’t need human stuff

From a canonical perspective: Warzone Firefight is technically a simulation, so they can do whatever they want.

From a realistic perspective: 343 got creative. They needed to make Warzone Firefight more of a challenge and the Prometheans don’t have any ground vehicles.

It’s just war-games. They’re training the Spartans to fight any opponent.

Let me answer your question with another question. You guys remember the mantis boss on standard WZ on darkstar? How it could be killed in just a minute.

Why are there three of them surrounded by endless amounts of soldiers and knights in WZFF? And why do they each have 10x more health than the standard WZ mantis boss?

AND WHY CAN THEY SPAWN ON ROUND 3 WHEN MOST OF US ARE AT REQ 4 OR LOWER?!?
