I miss the old days where everyone would play you cold always find a custom game no matter what think its going to be big like halo 3 and reach again?
It was big in 4 as well at least for me. Mcc hasn’t been so lucky however I had my first game night last week on mcc it was like halo 3 glory days all over again. Use mics! send friend/party request You’ll meet people that wanna play customs as much as you.

Even though Forge will be late, I’m sure you can still create some cool gametypes at launch and I’ll mess around with that for sure.

Ahahah I’ve been on Xbox live for 6 years and halo 3 was my first game I’ll for sure add I generally send people game invites on my friends list when I’m down for customs to never gets really big though

Apparently there will only be 4 gametypes available in customs at launch so I don’t think there will be much going on for customs until December when forge launches.
FYI I frequently participate in and host large custom games in H2A on MCC. Also lots of good minigames on my file share. Message if interested.
H3 customs are overplayed and overrated. Yeah I said it.
Honestly, I’m saddened that I’ve never truly gotten into custom games. On halo reach, I got in a couple but half the time the other guys just spawn killed you and you had no idea what you were doing. But I watch all of these videos and the amazing communities that get together to play and I can’t help but feel like I’m missing out. I still don’t have an Xbone, but I plan to get one soon, and I hope to really get into a great community with halo 5. Hopefully I’ll have halo 5 around the time that forge is released

I don’t have any friends on xbox either unless there people I know in the real world (and they don’t really play halo) but I normally add people from recent matches that play the game then send out invites to my lobbies for customs I get descent lobbies from time to time

Wait, when was Customs NOT being played? I remember on launch of Halo 4 when I’d get invites tp customs with 14-15 players already in!
id love to play customs but whether or not customs becomes big thing is dependant on 2 things
File share, without it well you can kiss a lot of custom games goodbye.
Easy way of inviting recent players!
there nothing more aggravating than waiting a minute just to be able to invite people to your game, at least with windows 10 this is possible relatively quickly, however I would prefer it if, you can invite people to your custom game with just 1 button click then move to the next.
I’m down for competitive be start customs (: not on now but add me if any of you are running some or MM.
