Really intresting question I would actually enjoy Stephen rippy returning
My money is on Salta, but I wouldn’t be opposed to see Rippy come back again. He composed one of my top 5 Halo songs of all time, “Action Figure Hands” it fit the RTS gameplay perfectly, and of course the Spirit of Fire theme is amazing.

Stephen Rippy did a good job I hope they get him again.
Stephen Rippy would be a good move. I believe he’s still in business and he does a really good job at composing those types of games. I think a lot of us would like to see him bring more tracks to the Halo universe. Not sure if they would do it as I know they have many talented composers to choose from, but it would be cool if they got Rippy back.
Stephen Rippy indeed is not involved on the Halo Wars 2 soundtrack sadly. My money is on Tom Salta as well. 343 likes him and so does Microsoft. He puts out good content, my only problem with his work on the Halo material is that it doesn’t capture the “Halo vibe”. I remember on Halo Wars, Stephen got input from Marty on his score, so the Halo Wars soundtrack was guided in the right direction from the start in a way. It is not going to be that way on Halo Wars 2. In fact, just from listening to the in game stuff from the beta im not to excited…
