Whos excited?

I am excited for this game and its to hard to describe, but I have seen lots of hate for this game and was wondering if I was in the minority for being excited for this game.

I am very excited.

The recent “hatred” you’re talking about is the result of no split screen. If you normally have friends over sharing the same tv as you do or you’re not interested in xbox live, then this could be a major drawback for you. Otherwise, the rest of the “hatred” is from old time halo players that don’t want halo to change; this includes core mechanics like sprinting, ground pound, and clamber. The only core mechanic I’m personally worried about (my opinion) is the “charge” ability which is the equivalent of starting off all players with an energy sword as a secondary weapon.

At the very least, the single player campaign will be fun and if you’ve enjoyed past halo titles I’m sure Halo 5 will be just as fun.

Well said. I for one like all the changes to the mechanics but will not buy for the lack of any splitscreen. I think with that one, they have their priorities messed up. If they patch it in, I will buy that day. I would even pay for the feature as DLC. I think the single player will be good but I have to stick with my guns and vote with my money.

This is the most excited I’ve been for a Halo game since Halo 2.

I’m definitely excited for this game and already pre-ordered the limited edition.

its not an insta, in fact, many times i died because i charged em. Its a 1sk breakout, or if they have ½-¾ of their shield gone.

Yes!! Most excited I have been for a game in awhile, already have the LCE pre-ordered.

I’m excited but skeptical. I really liked Halo 4 and I enjoyed the Halo 5 Beta but MCC was (and still is) such a mess I don’t know if I want to risk wasting my money on Halo 5. I might just wait until after release to buy the game.

I know how they feel. I grew up on halo playing split screen with 4 people. They would come over and play but now a day its mostly online for me and many others so not a big lose for me. Still kind of sucks though.

Very

Can’t wait

I’m also excited but I can’t sign it on the poll because it ended :frowning: XD

So much to be excited for with this game but for me, above all, I’m looking forward to commanding blue team. This campaign will be incredible.

I’m incredibly pumped for this game, Warzone looks like an amazing new mode and although I didn’t play the beta, the arena gameplay I’ve seen looks pretty good too.

Very excited. No one will be surprised when H5 has amazing sales like Halo 4, but the difference will be the lasting online population. 343 is getting the multiplayer right this time around. It’s a good time to be a Halo fan.

People will have their nit-picks and talk tough on the forum about how they won’t buy the game or ever play it. The few of them that are truthful and do not play will gnash their teeth and wail when they see how well Halo 5 does and no one will notice their absence from multiplayer. But we will be forced to tolerate their presence here on waypoint because they like spending a lot of time on forums for games they don’t play.
The sensible nay-sayers stopped coming here long ago because that’s what sensible gamers do when they don’t like a game.

I have a few minor gripes with H5, but the overwhelming majority of things 343 has done for the franchise post-H4 makes me want to celebrate.
