You, the player.
It feels different than the rest- you knew that this could happen, but it still seems to be a different type of ending for a halo game.

Plus, I feel more connected to Noble 6 after all of this. This is your death. This was your story.

I agree. Trying to fight on against a never ending onslaught and knowing it will end with the odds not in your favor, will always hard hit.

Agreed. Noble 6s death hit me the hardest. Still, I remember a bunch of my friends went into Lone Wolf, trying our best to stay alive…Good times.

I fought long and hard. Hoping there was a light or a glimmer of hope. But the hordes of ruthless enemies overwhelmed me until I could no longer stand. Then to add insult to injury, the elites shot my dead body.

In the more flowery sense, I’d say Jorge had the most tragic death. He died thinking he’d saved those he was supposed to save, and he got to go out on his own terms and (as far as he knew) for a very good reason. Then comes the ultimate middle finger to his sacrifice.

However, I think Kat’s death is the one Spartans would fear most. No honorable death to save lives, no overcoming a seemingly unstoppable force even if it costs your own life, no making a true difference with your death the same way you made a difference with your life. Just a sudden stop, for nothing. Accomplishing nothing, leaving the battle without assuring a victory. That’s how I imagine a Spartan would see taking a sniper shot to the head during a break in the fighting, and that’s how Kat died.

On more personal level, I’d say Kat had the saddest death for a Spartan. Everyone else got to spit in the face of the enemy one last time.

i agree

I find it hard to believe that nobody is voting Jorge, but it’s even weirder that anyone voted Kat… She’s a terrible driver.

i say Six was saddest, followed by Jorge. Six was so close to making it out alive.

you do realize that kats ai is the same as the odst from halo 3 odst and kats death is sad because she died without a resolve jorge is also sad because he thought he caused a difference when he didn’t i wouldn’t say noble 6’s death wasnt sad because he/she had the chance to leave reach but wanted to go on a suicide mission.

I see what you mean-- the mass wasn’t in the pelican, the mass was in his heart.

The elites were just like DOG PILE!!! And he/she got overwhelmed-/ Jorge sacrifices himself for his home, and he was the nice guy, a gentle giant, the best friend to you.

No one here cared for Jorge only Noble 6

Me, I cried :’(

i cared about the whole entire noble team except for carter(seemed boring to me) so what your saying is false.

Everybody elses death was in service to the mission. So even though I shouted “No!” I took the emotion to carry on and do what they gave their lives for.

Six’s death because the mission was over. There was no reason to fight other than to survive for what you know is a lost battle. There was nothing to win, no reason to stay, just no way to leave. It was just acceptance and melancholy. Coming face to face with an enemy that has won, knowing they will gladly take your life, when they have already taken everything.

Jorge was my favourite, and I still dream of a story where he survived.

Noble 6 by a landslide, but most heroic is carter.

Why isn’t the original noble six as an option?
Here is a link for the clip.

Jorge no doubt
