The Didact. The guy had powers for Spartan sake…

bane. in fact. that whole movie was an astounding disappointment.

This, but in my opinion, it was partly disappointing because of how damn good The Dark Knight was, specificly Heath Ledger’s take on The Joker. That performance, is in my top 5 movie performances ever. Just sayin.

I actually preferred Rises. Aside from Ledger, the Dark Knight wasn’t that great of a movie. THe fight scenes were horribly excecuted and choreographed, some of the side characters were horrible actors (SWAT truck guy) and some stuff just plain didn’t make sense (falling off a building and landing hard enough to destroy a car but being perfectly fine, the implementation of the cell-phone imaging thing). That’s not to say that Rises didn’t have it’s flaws, but overall I enjoyed it more.

The Didact isn’t dead. The thing he fell into was a slipspace rupture, he’ll be back.

Well the Didact didn’t die at all, he just fell through the slipspace rupture to Earth and is probably in orbit or on Earth.

I mean, think about it, think of all the times the Chief would have been surely dead if it wasn’t for his armor. You have a Promethean warrior, the pinacle of his caste with most likely the best forerunner battle armor…He’s not going down that easily.

If Master Chief can survive a nuke with Cortanas assistance/sacrifice then its way more likely for the Didact to be alive.

not going to make this into a thread about why i hate nolans batman films. but ill say its because they arent batman films.

He fell into a slipspace rupture like you said, but that wouldn’t put him in orbit around Earth, it would likely send him far away. With his Forerunner knowledge of slipspace and access to greater technology, he’ll likely be able to find away back given a little time. It’s possible that the rupture even has a location pre-determined for such an occasion (similar to how the collapsed portal at the Ark was able to send Chief near Requiem).

Posting this in General Discussion would be a better idea
