Sure Black Ops is just the same old song and dance, but it’s a familiar song and dance. We don’t have to adapt from almost 6 years of playing just to keep a decent rank, or K/D ratio.
There’s a laundry list of problems with Halo 5 that honestly I don’t see 343i changing any time soon. So later today I’m going to be trading this game in for COD.
I really want this game to be enjoyable, but it simply isn’t. The story is…not the Halo I remember, and the multiplayer now is MLG or MLG Lite. I don’t want to have to break out my SCUF controller just to stay positive or have to ditch my BR for an AR because claustrophobic maps are the new thing. I hope that 343i listens to all of the feedback given here on these forums and changes Halo back into what we all know and love. Until then I’ll just be on COD and maybe try snagging this game used once things are actually fun and playable again.
Wouldn’t touch Black Ops with a ten-foot barge pole. The Black Ops stories have always been awful and I gave up CoD when Advanced Warfare came out. Wouldn’t trade my Halo games in for anything.

This and everyone else I agree with who posted so far, Call of Duty is awful I gave up LONG before Advanced Warfare. I LOVE Halo 5 multi.
I have both and needless to say. Blackops3 takes a crap ton longer to get used to and you die quite quick in multiplayer, also corner campers as always and quickscopers will soon appear but that is a given. Zombies is meh and Campaign is decent enough to enjoy. Halo5 IMO is easier to get the hang of and the time-to-kill is slower but what I like is not what you like so go with what you like.
well first I cant since I got it digitally. Second cod has sucked since world at war. I might get battlefront since that’s my childhood but that’s about it for multiplayer shooters.
Already did. Black Ops 3 is literally 10x more fun to me. Plus it literally has about 8x more content, so there’s that. There’s literally a zombies campaign (unlocks after you beat the normal campaign), and it’s freaking awesome. Halo 5 disappointed me way too much, just like you said.
So no, you’re not alone. Despite what other die-hard Halo 5 fans say.
COD being an inferious shooter to Halo is such an obvious fact to me. I never understood the hype for this series. I used to buy COD titles used when they cost 10$ to play the campain but I don’t even do that anymore.
I am really enjoying Halo 5 and I have never really been a big fan of COD. I have a copy of COD:AW but never put a lot of time into it. Its just not for me I guess.
If I could buy just the zombie related stuff from COD, than I would actually have it on my shelf. I have never found the multiplayer worth playing. Rather play CS:GO, that game has at least lasted way longer than one year before a new release.
No way I’m loving halo 5 far too much. COD was fun back in the day but that ship sailed for me long ago. For me it’s halo and battlefield all the way. I

Yeah, I don’t understand people giving away Halo 5 for a CoD title. The most broken Halo (MCC at launch) is still 10x better than any CoD title released. And I used to do that too but I could never really get through the campaigns that often. Just didn’t interest me that much.
You don’t need a scuff controller to have a positive k/d. Also, if you’re too stubborn or stupid to change your BR to AR according to the situation, you’re just a bad player.
