I’ve been playing H5 since lunch.
146 now.
Good times and bad times.
Fun and sad times.
Epic -Yoink-. And -Yoink-.
But for the most I’ve enjoyed it.
Who is still signing in at least once a week and playing a few games?
I’m a day 1 guy.
I generally play at least once a week, sometimes more, sometimes less. Still enjoy it for the most.
Does the beta count? I think I waited a couple days before getting it because I wanted to make sure another MCC wasn’t going to happen. I play daily just because I’m grinding for my rank.

I am. Although I had an unusual situation: I preordered Halo 5 and had a disc at launch, but I didn’t play it in the beginning, because I had to wait a few more months to acquire an Xbox from my friend. So I’m kind of a “day 1er” but not really. And I didn’t play the beta either.
Beta was crap. Lol
I have the game since day one,but I couldnt play it on the first day.
I’ve had it since launch. I take breaks here and there though
I bought and played Day 1, but I ended up taking like a month-long hiatus after getting through a few chapters of the campaign. It just didn’t capture me.
I played a few games on day 1, then put it down for two or three months straight. Then I picked it back up and played more than I have played any other Halo

I’m a day 1er, with just about 40 days logged on (according to xbox, waypoint only says 11 not including customs)
SR 118 (if only customs gave xp)
playing a few games a week
making a fleet in forge made out of Thomas the Tank Engine
I played the beta, preordered, and haven’t stopped playing since.
i wish i could’ve played the beta, just a little bit…

So you bought it when it released, and played it when it was closer to being completed. Seems logical to me
I bought it day 1 and only Titanfall 2 has distracted me from it. They’re both my games of choice right now.
Day 1er here as well. Been on a steady grind since “lunch” lol
Not me I waited for a sale which was a month or two ago and I popped it in yesterday just to edit service tag and some other stuff.
Lol, day 1 of Combat Evolved and every one since.
I’m a day one guy but sadly I didn’t play on day one. I pre-ordered the Halo 5 collector’s edition Xbox One, which came with the game but I was deployed when I made the pre-order and when it came out. I was lucky to have someone hold on to my package for a few months. I haven’t been able to play much over the past few years but I plan on making that change now that I am around.
I’m not unfortunately. I got my Xbox One a few months after launch and started then. A few months after Halo 4 came out my second Xbox 360 got a red ring of death roughly 7 months after purchasing it. I was already disappointed with Halo 4’s gameplay and my Xbox dying so quickly after buying it was the last straw. I took a break from Halo and the Microsoft brand entirely for a few years just because I was so frustrated with it. When Halo 5 released I started to consider getting into it again and I finally decided to give it another shot. I’m glad I did because Halo 5 is much better than Halo 4 in my opinion and I still haven’t had any major issues with my Xbox One. I still log in almost every day and play a few matches at least.
I’ve been playing since launch and I still play at least 3 hours every day for that 152 grind. Almost there.
Day one, finished the campaign that very night. My dreams were very VERY weird when I did finally sleep.
