I cracked up the first time I heard “Bad guys” with my friends.
“Oh -Yoink- I’m willing to handle covenant any day of the week, but BAD GUYS? Man we’re screwed, let’s call the Good Guys and let them handle this!”
Oh, and Miller, shut the -Yoink- up.
Episode 4’s dialogue looks a bit improved to me, but for the previous chapters I go to replay, I just hit the Red vs Blue box and enjoy kicking some Promethean -Yoink- (episode 2, chapter 5).

I have said, and will continue to say, that Jennifer Hale’s considerable talents are wasted here in Halo 4 due to pedantic writing, a meandering story line, and horrible voice over work by the secondary characters throughout the story (Miller, Dalton, Majestic, AI Roland, et cetera).

I agree the writing for spartan ops is horrible. The spartan IV’s act like cocky ODST’s more than they do spartans. And Palmer’s lines are way too damn cheesy.

On the topic of Spartan Ops dialogue, here’s a drinking game- take a shot whenever someone (mainly Palmer) says Crimson. By the end of the mission, you’ll be dead due to alcohol poisoning.
It seems to me that they say Crimson every other sentence.
