Halo 4 is haunted!
(And I don’t mean by greedy green ghosts or that spooky helmet from Reach.)
Weird things are happening in multi-player land…
In SWAT [no shields, no sensors, no AA] on Adrift I came up against a guy who looked as if he was using Active Camo. He flickered and disappeared as I was lining up the shot then reappeared so close he meleed me - in the FACE!
On Ragnarok -BTB- I’ve seen a guy blasting out of Blue base central man-cannon and fly sedately almost to the stream in front of Red. He didn’t have a jet-pack, his legs were tucked up below him and he floated in a sort of lazy way across the sky. (we all float down here…)
I was over by the rocket-launcher spawn on the wide plain and I swear I heard the clang as my avatar’s jaw dropped and hit the bottom of the helmet.
On Settler -BTB- I saw a guy, again without jet pack, pull a similar stunt and float from the gully up the sheer wall to where the rail-gun spawns.
Another memorable one was a CTF game on Ragnarok when a Covenant Carbine went skittering across the map in a most irregular fashion about 2 feet above the ground - for almost 30 seconds. Plus it was firing!
I don’t think these are ‘lag’ issues as there was no jerkiness or repeat movements - but they were bloody weird!
Who’s seen what?
Well, I had this extremely laggy game and I was chasing a mongoose that appeared to be driving itself all over Complex. By the time it got far away from me, the game lagged again and from the sudden I was driving that particular mongoose off the cliffs.
I’ve had some weird lag spikes, I got an extermination, but I only got a triple kill then killed another guy like 10-15 seconds later
This made me laugh because two nights ago I was playing koth on exile with some mates and for about a minute a mongoose WITH NO ONE on it kept chasing me and trying to splatter me, was funny as! I thought I was seeing things but two mates in the same game witnessed it. All I could think was that I was in a Stephen king movie lol
Hahaha oh my gosh… I need to see videos! All these sound funny as hell hahahaha. If someone gathered all of the film from all this and made an intense like ghost busters montage, itd be amazing! Thanks for posting this. This totally made my day. Lag tho is crazy beyond belief. Ive had my share of crazy lag kills and deaths. Its equally funny as it is frustrating.
Looks like we have plenty of material for a few new ‘A Haunting’ episodes.
I never had anything like this happen to me. Weirdest thing I saw was when I was watching my brother playing a game on Landfall. He had rockets and fired one at an enemy (at relative close range) wich vanished before it got to the target. Then immediately fired the other one, wich also disappeared and then the other guy killed him. There must be a ‘Black Hole’ armor ability or something that we’re not aware of.
