Who wrote the game, Chris or Brian?

I’ve been wondering who’s the one responsible for the script of Halo 5: Guardians, was it Chris Schlerf or Brian Reed? Halo 5: Guardians began development in 2012, and Chris left 343 in November of 2013. Soon after it was announced that Brian Reed as the lead writer, with getting mixed reactions from our community. I wonder is, who do you think is the one responsible for the Halo 5: Guardians script? I thinking it may have been Chris who majority wrote the script, but with Brian making some touches. Or it was done entirely down by Chris or done entirely by Brian. I’m not putting down Brian, but from what he’s written in comparison to Chris, it’s just not as great. I, like the rest of you want Halo 5: Guardian’s story and characters to be the best they can be.

I’d say half and half. Then again, what’s to stop Reed from going back and editing things, and redoing it his way? Just like any script, a ton can change during the course of production. Anything’s possible.

Last week’s Halo Bulletin said it was Brian Reed.

Yeah, NO!

Christopher wrote Halo 4’s story and Brain wrote Spartan Ops.

What has that got to do with anything? This thread is about Halo 5, not Halo 4.

This is Halo 5 that we’re talking about here.

Pff, gotta stop coming on Halo Waypoint late in the evening, though I was in the Halo 4 forum.

My bad guys.

Well, there go my expectations.

Since they talked about planning out the saga all at once, its likely Chris did most the high-level plot points, but wen it comes to dialogue and the nitty gritty its likely 100% Brian.
