This is out of sheer curiosity. Let’s say that 343 had to leave the Halo franchise for whatever reason, and Microsoft were searching for a new team. Now, while this would never be the case, let’s say that every developer you can think of (except Bungie, because that would be cheating) is available. Who would you pick to develop Halo 6?

Bungie…
Certain Affinity. They have a long history with Halo, I’d be willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Idc just not bungie.

I might of agreed with you if this is old Bungie we’re talking about.
Who says they wouldn’t just build a new dev team from scratch rather than hiring someone else? That’s how 343 came to be.
id pick bio ware tho if I had to.
Certain Affinity
Certain Affinity would probably be the best choice. They were involved in the H2A development so hopefully they would make H6 more like it and less like H5/4
Gearbox
They already worked on the franchise with Halo PC and they know how to have players be invested in their games over extended periods of time (i.e. Borderlands).

Idc who it is. I just want the clowns at 343 to stay as far away from Halo as possible.
Doesn’t matter, publisher will just run it into the ground.
Certain Affinity is really the only right answer.

He also said you can’t choose Bungie. And CA basically is Bungie, no?

No, what makes you think that?

Because it was founded by Max Hoberman and other ex-bungie employees…?

well i feel that it would not change anything, it should be that Microsoft give up rights to Halo and someone else should be in charge. Microsoft rushed and still rushes everything with in halo and windows. They did it for bungie as well if they had more time halo 2 would have had sprint and no one would hate on it so much, just an example of one. anyways as long as Microsoft has a hand in the halo jar it will go down hill, i may just stick to the book and thats it if it gets real bad.
Hi-Rez they are doing some good stuff over on smite.

It was founded by Max Hoberman and includes ex-Bungie employees as well as people from around the industry. CA is no more Bungie than 343 is.
