There’s a secret audio clip that goes with the trailer that you should listen to hereThe AI will be Cortana - part of the story will be trying to find her/fix her I’d imagine.
I think it will be a clone of cortana if not the other fragments of cortana.
Halsey had that second Cortana or whatever it was in the opening cinematic of Halo 5.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t get one this game. Ever since Cortana turned, it has been dangerous for UNSC see to even use AI, the smart and more complex ones more so. There’s the possibility of Cortana picking up on their location and/or tampering with them, etc. According to recent events before Infinite, that’s the fear of having AI and so they’ve been using dummy AI instead. Apparently Lasky doesn’t even like Spartans using AI in any sort because or Cortana.
Eventually I do think Chief will receive a new one, maybe in the form of new Cortana or some form of Mendicant Bias. I believe Cortana will fall and be defeated by the likes of another AI to counter her, and parallel the events that happened during the Forerunner Flood war
It’s going to be Cortana because you can’t have Master Chief without Cortana
Mendicant Bias, Intrepid Eye, or even Black Box would be really cool. I’d prefer Mendicant Bias.

I believe there’s a breakdown and close-up of the new chips serial number and it is one more than cortanas serial number. Also a flash on the screen of Weapon containment or something to that effect once he puts in the chip.

It’s three of Halsey’s brains. She cloned herself to make the first cortana. So it only makes sense that she had spares.

Spoilers man! Anyway
Halsey made many clones brains before Cortana. Each one was put into storage after a A.I in slipspace went made and was loss. So after they were cryo locked for future research.

Roland wasn’t mentioned at all in the new book. I think they put him containment so he’s not hacked by Cortana.
Imagine if he got a Sgt Johnson AI. That would be awesome and hilarious.

Oh. I didn’t know that…my post was supposed to be a joke. Actually, I know very little about Roland, except that he is probably still with the UNSC because of that Halo 5 ending cutscene. He was very underused in Halo 5, appearing in maybe three cutscenes, so maybe everyone just forgot about him? By the way, that spoiler(in your post that I’m quoting) isn’t really much of a spoiler, I think.

IIRC she used 27 cloned brains to make Cortana, 3 is not a stretch.
