who will the enemy be?

The Covenant have been defeated, the flood are dead. Who is the master chief’s new foe?

A bunch of pissed off sentinels? Give us your opinion.

The Flood aren’t dead. They’re still many present in containment on other halo’s and research facilities.

And possibly outside our galaxy. The flood is an extra-galactic parasite.

Anyway: I think that whatever crashed on installation 04 in the Terminals might have to do with what we fight in Halo 4. I am also positive it’s not Forerunner or Precursors.

It doesn’t have a chance to be Forerunner because the ship was transmitting a distress signal and im pretty sure if they’re were Forerunners left over in the Galaxy they would know the exact locations of them.

Yeah good point, back to the thread earlier, who crashed into installation 04? which halo was this? i may have missed something.

It’s in the CEA terminals. You can watch them on youtube

I meant the enemies in Halo 4 aren’t going to be Forerunners or Precursors, but more likely whomever built the ship that crashed.

The Covie war ended however we still have rogue covies. Arbiter is on our side along with his group of covies, the flood will always be here until a permanent solution to actually destroy them comes. The precursor can be seen in the concept art video on waypoint, it’s clearly a precursor from the deception we are given of one. Guilty spark talks a great deal of the Didact and how since the librarian isn’t around anymore his temper wont be handled. And of course something random “could” happened and we get a random bunch of new enemies.

I don’t know what you read, but that thing in the concept art trailer looks nothing like a precursor to me. In fact, it looks like some kind of machine.

And why would the Didact be angry at the Humans, anyway? He never liked the Halos, so I don’t think the Chief blowing one up would piss him off that much.

Precursors stand tall, about 13 feet or so with many limbs and have a face that sort of resembles Kabuto from pokemon with red eyes. All that is seen in the concept art.

Humans took away from the librarians time and more or less kept her from going on the great journey with the didact. Consider Your girlfriend was hanging out with your best friend more than you, the end of the world happened to be that day and she spent her last moments with your friend rather than you. I’d be mad.

Spark talked about how us reclaimers would prefer the flood over a company of Prometheans. So my guess is Prometheans will be our main enemy, i mean come on, not only did we blow up Installation 04, (Twice) we also destroyed Installation 00.

Prometheans were a elite group of Forerunner supersoldiers that were despanded before they fought the Flood. That MAY be a Promethean though. If you look at the armour of the Forerunners from Halo Legends that looks like a sleek high tech type of suit. And the guy in there is one huge SOB.

One thing is for certain, all this talk about terminals and possible enemies has me excited as hell for Halo 4.

> One thing is for certain, all this talk about terminals and possible enemies has me excited as hell for Halo 4.

That’s the idea. It’s to make you feel hope in 343, and it’s working!

My perception on the enemy would have to be the Precursors, even though their is only one. But isn’t it possible for them to craft creatures? I mean they did make humans and Forerunners; so why couldn’t the Time Less One implement more Precursors?

Or maybe since they were hinting at this in the last terminal about the Didact. So the Time Less One (last precursor) is gone missing, and we have no idea where and the Didact(Bornsteller) is running around somewhere as well. Maybe they are building an army of some sort? Maybe crafting something new, or maybe creating Forerunner Precursor hybrids. Just a thought since in fact i did see engineers flying in the Halo 4 Concept Art Trailer. So they have to be helping build/supply something.

Does not matter to me. As long as they look awesome and they use awesome weapons, it is all fine.

It will probably either Forerunners or some sort of Forerunner creations.
SPOILER!
If you found all the Anniversary terminals and you understand what foreshadowing is than it clearly is in some way the Forerunners…whether machines, creations or whatever, I don’t know.

Homicidal, mechanical teddy bears.
