The Didact needs something big to make his mark in H5G, so do you think he will destroy the Infinity? Kill the Arbiter? What?
Not Arby or Infinity. I don’t think he will kill any more mane characters, at least not at the begining.

He will marry a duck and become the father of the brand new Primordial.
He doesn’t need to kill something. He can steal something.
It’s too early to speculate whom he’ll be killing, but i guess he will somehow stick with Jul and Halsey, since they have one part of the Janus key.
Though I’d really like him to get in contact with possible forerunner survivors.
Also I don’t want him to get killed off, since he’s such an important character in the reclaimer saga.

No, because Cortana was destroyed in the explosion from the nuke. Didact, however, fell into that portal thing (i can’t remember the name of it)

The epilogue in Halo 4, in a way, confirms this.
He doesn’t really have to kill anyone.
I think the entirety of Ivanoff Station, a chunk of Home Fleet, and 7 million people in New Phoenix is a pretty good record so far.
All in less than a day’s work.
343i expressed interest in keeping their main characters alive, so I doubt anyone special will be winking out anytime soon.
