Who were the spartans that saved Laurette Agryna?

So Agryna was saved by 3 spartans during the battle of earth in 2552. So who we’re these spartans and which program were they from?

I doubt there we’re part of the SPARTAN II Program because by that time a majority of the we’re dead MIA or on other missions. There is the possibility oh Naomi- being one of the three, but if this was the case then who are the remaining two?

It seems more likely that these could have Been SPARTAN IIIs because of the fact that there was a great number of them and some of them we’re pulled of out of their companys for more special assignments.

The SPARTAN-IV program seems the least likely since at this time they we’re in a experimental phase and no way near ready to deploy them.

My money is on Black Team and the armor being possibly non-canon, in much the same way that the Spartans all wearing Mark VI MOD armor in Halo 4’s prologue is non-canon.

It seems that several of the Spartan-II’s that “washed out” actually survived, and were put on far more top secret missions, like Black Team. A lot of the coffins sent out into space were likely empty. So, hypothetically, this could be an entirely new team of Spartan-II’s that were from those “washouts”, or even the fabled Second Class of Spartan-II’s.

You are searching an explanation where there is none. 343 didn’t bothered with the details, they just used the graphics they had for this cutscene. So yeah, Spartan with armor from 2559 are fighting brutes with weapon from 2559 and they totally don’t care. Those Spartan are just figuration for Agryna story and we will never see them again.
It’s just another incoherence that’s not worth taking an interest in

It’s just hard to throw away in-game cutscenes when we have so few of them. I get there was rush to get the content out, but should we just dismiss it or hold them accountable?

Ignore it till it becomes worth anything more than two seconds of thought. Beyond that, yes, doesnt matter.
Its a cutscene, not even aimed at lore nerds.

Honestly I could see them either being Spartan-II washouts who were resuscitated, re-augmented, and deployed. If not that then the only other theory that isn’t canon breaking is Spartan-IIIs which is just as plausible as the first idea. As others have said though, we shouldn’t focus on it too much until we get an update, if we ever do, but it can’t hurt to speculate a little or even have your own headcanon for it if you so wish.
