No but usually farmers are out in the open picking off players inside a base. Target locator can only hit players in the open

If that’s the only argument for adding what would be the most overpowered REQ in Halo 5, I think we should just tackle the core issues of farming.

If you were allowed to get enough REQS to afford such a powerful weapons, you’re not being farmed.

It doesn’t fit into the Halo 5 storyline. During the majority (and maybe all) of the missions, there is NO UNSC fire support. So there is nobody close enough to provide the indirect fire support for the target locator.

The reason why it worked for reach and halo 4 is because the ones firing were nearby. Halo Reach had orbital platforms and Halo 4, the mammoth was the one firing. But this is a simulation so why don’t they have one? And in spartan ops, the UNSC infinity lit up that area and broadswords I think lit up a bunch phantoms in that one mission.

special war zone game mode, target locators only with unlimited uses.
