Just think it would be awesome to see two Elites knocking seven shades of sh*t out of each other. Also it would make sense that the Arbiter goes after him as he is a remnant of the forces that attacked his keep in the Kilo five series and not he has started a new Covenant that threatens the alliance with humanity. Probably wouldn’t be the longest fight though as I am sure I remember it being established that Jul isn’t much of a fighter.

I’d say that Telcam would be more appropriate for this scenario. He lead that remnant that attacked Vadam and openly challenged him.
Jul is the Nemesis of the Infinity’s crew. Let Thorne, Lasky or whoever take him on.

I know this is off topic, but how come words like “bugger” (which means “-Yoink!- -Yoink!-”) and words like “bollox” (which means “-Yoink!-,” and is up there with sh*t and in terms of offensiveness) don’t get censored on here where as “*ss,” which means “bum,” and is something that I would comfortably say in front of my very-against-swearing grandparents, gets censored?
And just to test it, I really hope “-Yoink!- gets censored, because that’s almost as bad a “f*ck.”

Not exactly.
He was suspicious of the Arbiter jumping to join the humans, which is understandable. Then ONI kidnaps him and locks him on a shield world while telling him that they’re going to use him to develop a bioweapon to wipe out Sanghelios. He eventually escapes to find out that the UNSC Infinity killed his wife and friends in a civil war on Sanghelios.
Now he leads and takes advantage of a group of fanatics, posing as a religious warlord (where he actually isn’t “religious”) trying to restore his species’ power and focus so humanity can’t wipe them out.
His story needs to be fleshed out more in the games, not ended in them. I would actually prefer to see him become an ally. Save the killing and boss fights for more radical Covie cult leaders with less noble motives.
To be fair to the off-topic swearing discussion, Bugger is also the name used for Drones in the games, more so than the name Drone is…
I also agree Jul needs more depth in the games/comics. He seems to be one of the things Kilo-5 got right. Every other portrayal just has him as a generic bad guy.

Hell they aren’t even that offensive to us lot back in the UK, we swear so damn much it is like water off a ducks back.
