As the topic says “Do you want larger scale battles for Halo 5”.
IMO Halo 4 didn’t have any memorable large battles except maybe on Midnight when the Didact’s ship attacked earth. But in previous halo’s we have some some epic battles. In Halo 2 we rolled across a bridge in a tank chasing a scarab through the city, linking up with a squad of marines held up in a building and then proceeding to board the scarab and destroy it. In Halo 3 we landed on the ark and secured a place for the Dawn to land. Then the Dawn came in from space in one of the coolest halo moments ever and dropped off a bunch of reinforcements. Then there was that super awesome moment when you open the doors to let the tanks roll through and there’s a super sweet battle with a scarab. And on the Covenant after turning off the last spire and fought the flood there was some phantoms and pelicans dropping off both elites and marines alike and we went to go head to the citadel. (Can’t forget that Hornet battle with the Scarabs either) Halo Reach had the Tip of the spear, that cutscene alone says it all.
For Halo 5 I want to see some more Friendly AI, Spartans, ODST’s, Marines ect, in Halo 4 we barely had any friendly AI to fight along side with. There were only about 5-6 AI on the level with the mammoth, you’d think there would have been more. But, I’d like to see some Covenant allies in Halo 5 as well. I really love fighting with Elites, felt so cool to fight with them in Halo 3. Especially on Floodgate when they dropped in in those pods. And since the Arbiter will probably play a role would be cool to have some elite NPCs tagging along.
Maybe add in the Global battle feature that was cut from reach.

Of course. I’d love to partake in engagements on the scale of what we experienced in CE, and 3, return. ‘Global Battles’ seems like the next leap, and with the Xbox One perhaps we will finally see that realized.

Is this gonna keep being a serious question? To answer your question NO. large scale battles ruin the experience. Halo is supposed to be about halo. Meaning just on the ring. You cant fit a large scale battle on a ring. Shoot some people can’t even fit a ring on their finger. Not only do i want smaller scale battles, I want spartans to be the shortest variant of human. With, of course, master chief being the shortest. I can just see the potential of midget chief.

Na halo only works when spartans are small enough to fit on a penny. Seriously though why are people asking if people want there to be bigger battles? I guess my eyes are the only ones where the words no yoink pop up when an obvious thought goes through my head.
