I vote for 4 player. First they will get rid of the four player, and say It don’t matter people are not going to use it much, then next they will get rid of the 2 player split screen just like every other game. They apparently think nobody plays split screen and force people to play co op stuff online.
I can hardly find racing games that are two player anymore. I’m a co-op guy and its sad how I see all the games switching over to single player. Hell I go out of my way now to by even crap games that are two player. And I avoid buying any single player games, until I get them for dirt cheap at gamestop.

Most people these days are starting to play games on PC more and theres no coop type of -Yoink- for that. The reason h5 is 2 player split screen because it wont mess up the frame rate. Trust me when I say this you do not want to play 30 frames when you were playing 60fps before it doesn’t work well. Why don’t your friends just bring over their xbox ones and h5g and play on a separate TV. If they’re the typical cod players they wont want to play halo anyway. They should have an xbox one and h5 and just bring it over. Its what most people do these days anyway. Sorry to say but the days of 4 player split screen are coming to a end.
Yes. This is something that I have always loved doing since Halo 2, I have no idea why they would take it out now. Playing with family on my days off is such an awesome bonding experience, it seems only Nintendo remembers this.

Or they could just implement 4 player split screen. Smash Bros on Wii U is 60 fps with 8 player coop on a WAY weaker machine. Why can’t they do 4 players on H5? I’m confused.
Halo’s multiplayer started as a splitscreen experience and it is a mainstay to the franchise. If its removed it will be a huge blow to Halo’s legacy, which I hope 343i aims to keep intact. Splitscreen in Halo through all the years, always.

Then the PC games are inferior simple as that. People even have modded games to add splitscreen to certain games so clearly in demand even on the PC. Clearly the many many console sales shows people are playing a lot on console as well. I don’t get why this issue angers you so much even if you are a PC fanboy.
Why do people use this invalid argument about the visuals? Clearly someone who wants 4 player splitscreen knows they may need to lose some visuals. Always been that way. No difference for this generation. Also people pull this out of their -Yoink- since we don’t know the kinds of sacrifices necessary to add this.
I would prefer if it did.

Not everyone has Xboxes One owning friends, and bringing in extra TVs and Xboxes into the same room is less than ideal. And I care, and many others who are used to inviting friends over to play some classic custom games.
I could have -Yoinking- sworn that a brand new console was supposed to support more features.
How the hell did gaming get so backwards??
