I personally think 343i should make an Elite slayer Playlist, but not just any playlist, i think they should have Elite snipers, Elite Swat, and maybe a Blargball playlist, along with an Elite Slayer playlist. I personally love it when Blargball is voted for and wins when I’m in the grifball playlist, and when elite slayer wins in team slayer. I have mainly been an Elite on my profile since Halo 2,(although i didn’t have live then,) and i think if there was elite playlists available, some people would be happier. on Halo 3 elites played just like humans of course and you could be an elite all you want, that’s not available on reach so i’m hardly ever able to be an elite, i know there’s people who agree with me, and if we show it then they might give us some Elite playlists, i don’t know if it would be 1 or 3 or 4 but i would probably play them all. who’s with me?
We don’t need yet another playlist that will have a low population, plus the August update is the final update for Reach, it will be consolidating the playlists, they aren’t adding any more.

thats why i think they should add it, for the elite community, and i think it would have high population cause people have asked for it alot. it would bring more people to play.

People are able to shoot people’s heads off faster than you can think, i’ve played elite swat locally and it’s alot of fun.
I’m all for an elite playlist…as long as it means that elite gametypes get taken out of the rest of matchmaking.

Halo 4 is around the corner, I doubt 343 is going to waste any more time with Reach.

The number of people who have asked for it are far far outnumbered by those who don’t. It was brought up a long, long time ago, yes, but wasn’t implemented then and I am pretty sure it won’t be happening now. 343 is interested in playlist consolidation right now, not expansion. Reach is already pretty much maxed out on the playlist count and nearing the end of it’s run with Halo 4 around the corner. They’re going to be cutting lists, not adding more. Especially not ones that would not have a huge population draw.
i just think they should give us one last NEW thing, that’s all. not just a “we added some maps, took away some maps and made on playlist weird” kinda thing. if they added at least one elite playlist and took out the stupid ones, (Action sack, Super slayer,etc.) then we would have something new to play until Halo 4 comes out. thats all i’m saying is i don’t want to be bored waiting for halo 4.

Agreed. Something to give Reach a new final ‘ORAH!’ before Halo 4 comes we got 3 months left so 343 should come up with something new. I say a few new playlists for Elite fans. If nothing, we can wait until Halo 2: Anniversary comes out(remember their anniversary is coming peeps) or Halo 5.

I mostly hate TU and Super Slayer seriously they have to go. You just die too quickly. Ever get DMRed quickly? It’s annoying. I can’t even use Armor lock to protect me from a tank fire or being grenaded. Armor Lock doesn’t protect you from those and alot of people just chuck grenades like candy. Only reason I go into Armor Lock for good reasons:
Attempted Assassination
Grenades (ALOT ALOT ALOT! Annoying!)
Heavy Fire(tanks, Banshee, laser, etc)
Even though the lists in some give you only one grenade to prevent Armor lockers, it won’t work. They still get grenades no matter what and chuck them at you. I’d say remove TU and Super Slayer. They have to go. If we want Elites in we should bring back something. My suggestion:
Spartans vs Elites 4 vs 4 Generator Defense
Spartans vs Elites 4 vs 4 Slayer
Ever played the beta? Those two were the best for me. I loved them. Plus Generator Defense is kinda lame in Firefight. Beta’s was way better.

Generator Defence was never a multiplayer game mode, it was always a Firefight mode, even in the beta, Bungie were originally pushing for six player co-op in Campaign, one for each Noble Team member, hence the 3v3 Genny Defence game mode in the beta.
If we had to remove a playlist, Super slayer for sure (Squad was way better). I really think they should’ve added an Elite-only playlist from the get go since Reach introduced Spartans vs Elites in FF and Invasion. It really is a shame that they didn’t expand from that because it offers a different gameplay experience (Elites handle differently than Spartans). At least this way we wouldn’t have people quitting when Elite slayer gets voted.
