The community were asking for a UNSC flying vehicle, and we got the Wasp. That may sound like a whine, but that isn’t the case, its a versatile, low cost REQ that has a unique place in the halo sandbox, and that is easy to obtain (but for some reason a can get a Tartarus Gavel cert, but only have 3 Wasps).
People often dismiss the idea of a multi passenger air vehicle because it can be a magnet for triple kills, and while that is true, imo, its worth the risk, you have a powerful vehicle that offers a new way of attacking and strategic play, and I think it would be a great addition. Even though the free monthly DLC’s are over (as far as I know, feel free to correct me) I can’t be the only one who feels like it would be an interesting and worthwhile addition to Halo 5?

At least bring the hornet back.
I don’t. You know how bad people are with driving warthogs… now imagine the bad people being the pilot… ya no thx
The only non ego playbased vehicle in halo 5 is the warthog, which has become with the switch seat ability an half ego car…the new function isnt bad at all, but we need an coop based vehicle in halo 5. The game forces you to play these things solo.
I always loved flying the falcon…pardon phaeton in reach with a gunner at the side, i was hardly to get out of the sky, and with a fine gunner very deadly for others.
good old memories of reach.

I think 343 could very easily implement the falcon into warzone.
Just add a frontal pilot turret like in reach and grenade turrets on the side and you have a pretty decent Co-op aerial vehicle. Even OP to an extent.
Increase the speed and shielding to silence the people who are in the “too weak for warzone” camp.

a lot of new ego gen players dont lock out for their gunners, they just charge in and want the points, not the coop fun. When the hog gunner shields drop, get out of the fight and recover your gunner. Basics which arnt used by most of the ego players the game is raising by it self.

people hated the falcon in reach but I loved it. Good pilot + gunner and you would tear the map in BTB or invasion.

them good days in halo3 people were good at driving
Not 343i…
but for the sake of being constructive I’ll go on.
I -Yoinking!- LOVE THE WASP, but I don’t understand how it was easier to add, design and balance then the Hornet or the Falcon. Even for lore it makes no sense for it to replace either vehicle since it’s weaker then a ghost and is nothing more then bait for a banshee.
The Hornet certainly didn’t have a safe mode of transportation but just gluing unwise marines to it’s sides but the Falcon had multiple seats, two gunners and it’s own main cannon which all three could have their own weapons added to them. How the hell has that been outshined by (as someone explained before) “a flying rag dipped in napalm”?
Nah … no to the falcon… imo… but others seem to want it so why not

Why don’t you like the Falcon?
Hornet or Falcon would be awesome
Yes. It was so fun to have 2 players with rocket launchers on the side of a hornet. So fun.

The amount of gunners who don’t know to hit a and let me get the -Yoink- away when I’m driving is too high. It’s like people don’t understand that sitting in the passenger seat can save your life, which just means more time shooting people.
I’d take a Hannibal falcon, ONI Gauss cannons on both sides and another on the front. It also has nearly twice the speed and triple the armor. It can sustain 3 rockets and 2 splaser hits. The gunners are also protected by a canopy/closed door to protect them from snipers and other various threats. Then and only then will I want one
Vultures probably have a cargo bay with their size…
Mwahahahahahahaha.

You, yes, you there.
You’re my friend now. Preach on, brother.
Definitely. Earlier I was transporting a couple of people on top of a wasp to the enemy armoury

i tryed that to, but they all easily off or get splatterd by the wasp.
Why couldn’t 343 have implemented an airlift feature to the Wasp? It could be used to carry light vehicles like the Warthog and Ghost, which could still use their weapons to some extent provided there are people on board.
