Who thought it was a good idea to make launch site a land grab map?

I don’t think I need to explain why one side spawning with ghost/warthog compared to a mongoose on the other side is a bad idea. Not to mention how in most cases the rocket/cindershot on that side will prove far more useful than a skewer/sniper in a zone based mode.

This map is also just too large for land grab to work well on it. It takes far too long to reach zones especially for the side without the grav lift meaning claiming a zone comes more down to luck of spawn location rather than winning a fight.

I get there is a lack of maps in Infinite and 343 probably wants to make the most out of what they have but if they were smart they would have scrapped one flag instead of sacrificing an entire maps design for it.

Yeah I got stuck in that map a time or two and it’s awful. The other team can capture zones long before you can even get close due to the distance

The title is too long.

Seriously, what kind of mode is good on this map ?

The vast majority of the map is just dead space, it’s a terrible map. I don’t get it, that’s the best they could come up with for a map of that size, it took no imagination what-so-ever. I would have expected by now, a year into it’s release they could have at very least upgraded some of the existing maps, but nope, all the suggestions to make maps better, and they do nothing.

When ever I hear them say QOL improvements, I think to myself … Where?? I am sure, there are only 2-3 people maintaining this game, except the store of course.

The game Splitgate, it’s not the best game ever, but the maps are interesting, reminds me of some of the older Halo maps, and fun to play. Anyone at 343 that is tasked with play testing Infinite maps must be bored out of their mind. Maybe 343 should go play some Splitgate for awhile, get some ideas.

This is a map that is good for 6v6 at the very least. It’s right on the cusp of being too large for standard 4v4 and too small for 8v8.
