I think the halo reach style firefight should return. Especially with unlimited rockets and fuel rods.

I have reach on my Xbox one for that. I just wish I could at least try warzone firefight solo if I wanted. Selectable party size would be nice.
I’d like to ask what’s everyone’s fascination with firefight of Halo 5 or the old ones? I don’t mean to sound douchy or etc I’m just curious because me personally I don’t particularly care for them but everyone priases it. Is it just me lol?
I’m indifferent. It was fun back in ODST, but that version worked for the mechanics of that game. The survival and wave based mechanics worked when we had limited ammo, weaker melee, no shields, lower jump height.
Reach’s version was simply just a watered down version of H5’s.
H5’s works for a matchmaking environment and I like it.
Unless they somehow make MT’s work in the older versions they’ll never bring them back.

How about everyone who is a fan of Firefight? Warzone Firefight can’t compare to the ODST/Reach style… especially Reach, with the vast number of customization options at your fingertips.

Yes. My friends had so much fun with the custom settings. It’s how I got introduced to halo and I hope it comes back.

The original firefight holds some of the greatest memories in my life. Didn’t matter if it was Halo 3 ODST or Halo Reach, they were both just so much fun and I wish I could have that fun again. I know that there is Warzone Firefight which is fun and I would like for that to stay, but firefight is suppose to end when everybody dies, it was like Call Of Duty Zombies but Halo’s version which was a lot more fun (For me Personally, I know COD Zombies is fun). So I would Like the Old Firefight back but also keep Warzone Firefight for if you don’t have unlimited time to play.

ODST firefight likewise for me was some of the best memories of my childhood. Me and my brother would play that for HOURS! We were so happy when it was released as we were sick of having to kill all our allies in Star Wars Battlefront 1 in order to replicate a similar sort of gametype.
So when they said firefight was coming back to Halo 5 I got so excited… and then that excitement went away when I saw what they had actually released.
I hate Halo 5 firefight. It’s boring. Enemies are bullet sponges, teammates are useless, lag sucks, and overall the gametype just isnt fun.
I want the ODST style of firefight back so bad 
The larger varieties of enemies, the fact that you can kill an enemy at all without having to destroy the skin on your thumbs while doing it was great as well. Can’t tell you how much I hate having to pump 10+ clips of AR into an elite before he dies. Screw that it’s why I don’t play it.

Fixed it.
I really do miss the og firefight. Right now theres no way to play on xbone. I do hope they bring it back for h5
