Not sure what’s Bungie Chest, i assume is the Recon Chest with the Flaming Head.
Anyway, please, stop asking for stuff like this, everyone seems to want everything related to Bungie since they’re not working on Halo anymore. You want something, you must Earn it. There’s no way someone’s gonna give you something because “They Should”.
What? You know that 343i is a subsidiary of microsoft right? Scroll down that check out the nice logos.
They inherited control of all halo related assets and IP, including halo 3, so they could do it. Theyve just got better things to do. A final playlist update would be more useful.

I think 343i should give early beta access to those who’ve played a good amount of Halo 3 online. Like how Bungie gave Halo 2 veterans early access to the Reach beta.
Or nothing at all. It doesn’t really matter to me.

Why not give it away, as an award. Like a Rank 75 in Halo Waypoint or some other requirements like Recon was.
It would be easy enough since, that armor is server side only, much like recon.

The fact that one would need a cosmetic-only addition to an in-game character to play a game again is a bit insulting to the developers.
Though on the note of giving it to the community, i’d definitely give out some hard prerequisites in order to earn it.
Nope. It was exclusive. So was Recon. You got Recon, and if the Bungie chest piece is made available it defeats the purpose and makes it less special.
They should give something different. Like a nameplate.
It just seems silly to worry about things given out in Halo 3 but if they do that it should be given for getting all the achievements for Halo 3. Or something such as that.

Its impossible to do that. On Bungie Day 2010 they had to reprogram a switch so people could have it for the day, and be able to equip it on or off their spartans. They said in one of their weekly updates a while back that if they gave the world the chestpiece, no one would be able to take it off. It would be permanent.

However, Bungie has already given us quite enough in terms of rewards.
The most recent Bungie Day alone gave discounts on all the Halo products, the blue flame armor effect and a few nameplates. Not to mention, they gave us Halo in general.
Anybody who thinks that they should be “given” something just for playing the game is not only selfish but it’s pretty unappreciative in the highest degree of Halo at all.
